The property was well cared for. It had lots of personal touches. It was not a 5 star resort but it was well maintained for a small roadside inn.

The biggest issue I take with this property is privacy. The window treatment leaves big room for snooping in, and the mirror inside the room was perfectly placed to allow an outsider to see inside. It felt very un-private. The entrance to the room was basically flat with outside. When it rained, it feels water was going to come in.

Never had that complaint before, we have had severe rains but never a issue of rain coming into the room, we have sheer curtains in each room, it’s possible they were in the wash, but you also have blackout curtains to close if privacy was your issue

They canceled our reservation while we were en route due to our credit card being declined. The message said to call by 10:00 a.m. which we did, but they said they had already canceled and didn’t even give us a chance to use another card. We were forced to book another hotel which was way more expensive. Terribly rude and inconsiderate. We had stayed there before but never again.

Sorry but there’s a reason everyone should book a room with a valid credit card. It secures both parties a room and payment. This isn’t our fault, this is something you’re responsible for, at least we went out of our way and informed you in advance, unlike other properties who would tell you once you’ve at the property

I booked a room in this hotel for my parents and two friends, and they had a wonderful time there. They told me that it was a nice hotel, clean, well equipped bedroom and the people working there are really nice. They told me that I had to write a good review for them so here we are 😊

Love this little place!
Check in was the easiest I've had in 20 years. Friendly front desk. Quiet property. Beds were comfy. My family was very happy with the hotel and it's location. Would certainly stay again.

Clean rooms in a great location in Morro Bay. I haven't stayed in a hotel room this clean since before the pandemic. The beds are comfortable and the tvs have a good channel selection. I normally camp at the state park but we were passing through to Monterey and staying for the night. Yes they don't have AC but Morro Bay weather usually doesn't nake it necessary. We were in town on a hot day and we managed with just the box fan and don't hold it against the owners. The bathrooms in the rooms are nice and the water doesn't taste like pipes. Microwave and fridges in the rooms as well, really everything you need.

Old fashion motel. VERY CLEAN and in good condition. A little noisy as people would stand in parking area talking loudly. No air conditioning, but it wasn’t needed. 3 blocks from beach and commerce.

Very small rooms. altho recently updated, somewhat dated but pleasant. Bathroom and shower are very small and lack counter space and the shelf for your personal items above the toilet was tilted and unsuitable. Because this is a beach location, the rates may be in line with popular demand, but do not make this a great value property given the small rooms. It was nice to have a working fridge/freezer.

Appreciate the review, however, these rooms were standard size back in the 70s. Obviously we can’t make them larger now. These rooms are meant for weekend stays at the most not long term. All we can do is keep updating however our rates can’t be beat by our competitors.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was great. The only issue is the room was a little hot for us without ac and just the little box fan for cooling. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Perfect getaway
This hotel was away from the heavy amount of tourists downtown and near walking trails and a golf course. Peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed the view of the bay and a very comfy bed. Perfect for a restful vacation.
