It's a bugs life

Roaches in the room woke up to one crawling in my bed. Told front desk they seemed non bothered by it.

Pros: The front desk receptionist was very polite.
Cons: The quality and detail of cleaning the rooms.
Location: The hotel is located next to the highway but you don't hear it which was a plus. They're several restaurants, a Piblix and a movie theater.
The bathroom was not cleaned properly. There was hair on the toilet seat, the sink and the tub, the mirror had smudge marks on it like a child was playing on it. This is the reason why I ALWAYS pack bleach bathroom cleaner when I travel. I don't feel comfortable with the way they are cleaned.

Poorest CI&S Ever

Cons: total rehab
I regularly stay at a CI&S in So Illinois and it is an excellent facility. This one is just plain 'tired'. It appears to be old (maybe not an original CI&S). Just relating to the bathroom; 2' x 2' patched area in ceiling not painted, granite counter around sink stained, wallpaper cracked and peeling of wall, door would not close, exhaust system either poor or not working at all. And watch out for those yellow stains in the carpet next to the bed. The 'breakfast' buffet at 7:30 am was out of scrambled eggs, apple juice, orange juice, and the pastry/bread display was virtually empty. Kudos to the young lady taking care of this disaster as she offered to cook scrambled eggs by special order.

Started bad, turned out well

Pros: It was convenient, clean, comfortable.
Location: We were just passing thru.
We reserved on Expedia 2 hrs before arrival. After passing through over 2 hrs of rush hour traffic, we learned upon arrival that the Expedia staff reserved the room for Feb 19 not Feb 9. The motel receptionist was so kind and gave me the phone number to call. The Expedia staff said we'd have to cancel the reservation and start over only this time the room rent would be $98 instead of $63. No way were we able or willing to pay $98. Finally, the Expedia person said she could give me a coupon to lower the price. Through it all, the hotel lady was so helpful! Oh, by the way, the Expedia staff person had an accent and I had difficulty understanding plus she or he used unusual, hard to understand words when trying to say what letters to write down for our confirmation. It ended well but we were exhausted from traffic, from Expedia error but nothing to do w/ the motel.

Awesome location

Jamie in the breakfast station was a joy and very welcoming. Walk to Chili's and Longhorn. Super clean and loved the entry security of using room key...kept folks who aren't guests from entering. Linens and furnishings clean. Great location and highly recommended.

Pros: It's OK, experience could have been better.
Cons: Cleaning staff needs to WAIT until 12 noon to start banging on door. Better cleaning, dusting. Room needed maintenance, toilet leaked.
Location: Nice location.

Stay away from this hotel

We just stayed for one night, and decided to stay here, awful decision. Staff were so nice but bedroom was a nightmare. Dirty towels, ceiling fan with an inch of dust covering it, sofas with pen marks, trash behind furniture, and the worst part a toilet with pee spots. Totally disappointed, we paid 110$ for a place like this, what a mistake.
