A night of wondering

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleantiness
Location: not applicable
The dirt and untidiness of the entire facility kept me wondering if something was crawling on me, and it made for a restless night of sleep.

I checked in at 530am and was going to leave at 4pm the same day. Thats the way i set it up on expedia.com but when 10:30 rolled around that day i was asked to leave the hotel because chrck out time was 11am. I was furious and ended up sleeping in the bass pro shop parking lot till my shift at work started at 5pm. The only time i would ever go back would be to watch it burn down!!

Spring the coin and at least stay at a chain hotel

Posted Jun 7, 2013
Pros: Ice cold AC, cable
Cons: only have 150 characters but: bed, smell, hot water, mud coffee, wi-fi,
Location: right off the highway, 15 minutes to peoria
Film on all the surfaces, room and especially the hallways smell of who knows what, took 10 minutes to get hot water. Plumbing stench is activated with water, bed felt like 5 blankets on a pallet, coffee thick and black as tar with grounds floating in it. Wi-fi virtually useless, towels had stains on them, yet smelled of bleach. I don't have much good to say about it, except it is the absolute cheapest stay you can find in the area. I had a microwave and a fridge and AC as well as a roof over my head, cable came in between storms, so it did its job. My advice: do yourself a favor and spring 10 bucks more for a chain hotel.

the front door of the building wouldn;t close should have been a sign. Had to wake up the front desk guy he came out of a side room with a girl. Bicycles in the hall way and door at end of hall wide open to outside all night. The carpet in room looked new and walls were freshly painted but there was stuff all over the carpet there was a one foot by 3 foot duct taped area infront of the room door inside the room and the mirror in the bathroom was covered with something unidentifiable. It doesn't cost to run a vaccum or wipe down a mirror, have a little pride in your property please.

Don't stay here unless you're really desperate

Posted Apr 26, 2012
Pros: Really cheap.
Cons: Dirty, poorly maintained, felt unsafe.
Location: On the outskirts of town, next to a sketchy bar.
This is one of the worst hotels I have ever seen in any country. The hotel building is located next to a sketchy bar. Inside, the carpets are dirty and broken furniture is laying around in the halls. I had a first floor room, and the window wouldn't lock. The bathtub was dirty enough that I didn't want to touch it for fear of contracting a disease. The bed felt like it had a foam pad on top of plywood rather than a mattress. I was disgusted by this hotel and felt so unsafe there (as a woman traveling alone) that I ended up leaving and staying at a different hotel in town.
