Moscow Central Apartments.

The address given is incorrect, and fortunately we had a taxi driver that was concerned enough to make some calls for us and find out the correct one. The apartment is in a pre 1950's building with old furniture, bedding, and fitout, but recently painted. sold as 2 bedroom but is really only a 2 room apartment, the second bedroom is also the living room. Provisions in the kitchen were OK but no toaster, no spare linen or pillows were there and no soap in the bathroom. Access is difficult as lift only starts at level 1 not entry, stairs and hallways are dirty and does not have a great feel when entering from the the side street/alley. The positive side is that the location is quite good to both new and old Arbat streets, however the distance to Red Square and the Kremlin is not the noted 0.8km and more like 2km.
