Top notch - Expensive Food

Pros: Everything was serviced to the best standards. Cost of food was prohibitive (35$ for eggs and sausage and orange juice) but the prices are on the menu so can't complain too much
Cons: Prices of food were a bit higher even for a hotel. Now I am writing an extra sentence as expedia requires me to do this
Location: Close to metro, 30 minute walk to many of the cities offerings,

Location: Located 5 min walking to metro station Komsomolskaya and three major railway stations.
It was very good experience. Hotel in old historical building. Interior is a museum level. Located 5 min walking to metro station Komsomolskaya and three major railway stations. I ended up in the situation with late flights, changing arrival schedule, etc. I talked via email to hotel stuff quite a bit last 24 hours before arrival. They replying immediately, almost real time. Hotel personal was very accommodating to my needs and situation and helpful. I can definitely recommend it especially to business visitors like myself. Tourists should will be happy too.

For those who seek the "Shining" movie atmosphere!

Booked room King Bed deluxe was only available as handicapped room with handicapped bathroom complimenting the overall sanatory atmosphere of the hotel. Used to be a smoker´s room still with penetrative, smell of smoke. After complaint only twin deluxe room was offered with no compensation or upgrading for that inconveniance. Friendly staff at the reception but that´s it. Long shabby corridors remind of Timberline Lodge of "Shining" movie. Never again.

The exhaust fan in toilet did not work. Everything else was great.

The hotel is a 5 star hotel with excellent service and a wonderful breakfast buffet. I will definitely stay again.

On a business trip so I wasn't able to spend time searching the local establishments, thus no response. Hotel was nice though I do not like the entrance difficult to get bags through. On the other hand the large wooden doors are wonderful.
