It was difficult to find the hotel...poor signage. Got off at the nearest subway station and asked a dozen people in the area if they knew the Hotel Ulanskaya on Ulansky Per and nobody had a clue. Finally took a taxi only to find out I was actually standing 300 yards from the hotel! The room was spartan but had everything that was required. The staff were friendly but little English. The breakfast buffet was fantastic!

Good location and nothing else!

Shabby hotel with no choice of food for lunch or dinner, poor customer service skills of the staff. The cards do not open the doors and we had to go downstairs to reprogram them 4 times! You have to ask for towels. We had to ask for bed linen and the size provided did not match the size of a sofa bed. The hotel did not warn you they will not be able to register you with migration authorities (obligatory registration for foreigners in Russia) when you are leaving the country. I am well travelled and not picky but our Moscow stay was ruined by our experience in Ulanovskaya. The only good thing about this place is the location.

Pros: The hotel is perfectly located, teh food is good, staff are friendly, and rooms are clean, simple, and spacious.
Cons: Nothing-this is a perfect hotel for the money.
Location: There are a number of good restaurants in the immediate vicinity, including one serving Georgian cuisine. Red Square, the Kremlin etc. are all nearby.
Had an excellent stay. Hotel is perfectly located, clean and friendly. The breakfast is generous, the rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are made every day. The hotel is two-three minutes walk from a very convenient metro station and is perfectly located in general in the NE of the city. There are a number of fine restaurants all within the immediate vicinity (walking distance) and dinner at the hotel itself is also available.

Nice Hotel near close to Red Square

Posted Jan 8, 2016
Pros: Clean, staff with good English, the breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is very good
Cons: For the price it is more than enough
Location: The metro station (one of the best metros in world I have ever seen) just 200m. Many restaurants. Near to red square
This hotel was may best choice, with very convenient location. Close to train station, restaurants, nice avenue, plenty of shops. Just 200m from offices of the National Oil Company

convenient location close to Kremlin

Difficult to find entrance but this is a utilitarian business hotel next to Lukoil headquarters and subway, walking distance to Kremlin, Red Square, GUM. Staff was lacking in English but pleasant and I was able to get by. Breakfast was an excellent buffet and they had an excellent business lunch at a good price. The room was small and needed updating but was comfortable. Seemed like a good value.

Pros: Die Lage.
Location: U-Bahnstation in der Nähe. Zum roten Platz zu Fuß ca. 30 Minuten.
Leider lassen sich die Zimmer nicht verdunkeln. Frühstück ist Standard, gute Mittelklasse.

Hotel centrico, barato, limpio y comodo

Posted May 9, 2015

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Location:
