Perfect location-amazing decor

From the help getting our Russian visas all the way through to check out- this hotel was wonderful . The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully furnished. Food is delicious. They surprised us with a birthday cake on my daughters birthday. Great experience.

Some hotels rules are too strict and kids are not allowed to the swimming pool which is a shame...

Pros: Iconic building that is one of Stalin's 'Seven Sisters'
Cons: Service could be more relaxed and welcoming, reception desk were very helpful. Restaurants are very grand. Stylish comfy area for tea coffee missing.
Location: Not too much in the immediate area apart from 3 bar / restaurant which I did not find until leaving, 10 minute walk to the metro, so not too remote.
Iconic building, nicely presented rooms, great view from the 31st floor bar, a bit impersonal in some respects. Everything is pricey as you'd expect.

An old military complex

Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: Swimming pool
Cons: Guards, old bathrooms, poor service.
Location: You really need to take a taxi everywhere except for the river. Unless you lie walking next to very heavy traffic and cars. Novy Arbat is close by.
The swimming pool is the very nice - 50M without many people. The hotel has more security starting you down then a chicken in a fox pen. ( even a policemen at the steakhouse entrance). Bathrooms and plumbing from another era. Except for the reception girls whom are quite helpful, service is non existent (swimming area, exercise room, even restaurants). Many better options such as Marriott or numerous boutique hotels/apartments.

Typically Radisson Quality ..but even better

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Staff, cleanliness, efficiency and food.Breakfast isn't cheap-but everything is on offer
Cons: Nothing comes to mind other than a heated outside area for smokers- you freeze to death.
Location: Nothing in Russia or indeed in Moscow is .near by' but taxis are good value.
Undoubtedly one of the best hotels I have visited- not necessarily the cheapest on offer but you get what you pay for. This hotel is well staffed and most have a good command of English. The hotel itself is impressive and imposing- maybe to the point of overkill when it comes to the interior. But the place has class.Staff are both efficient and helpful. The hotel offers a good choice of different cuisines- we tried both the Iranian and Italian restaurants- the latter edged it for me but that could well be subjective.Would definitely go back and a thank you to all the staff who made the stay such a success

Great hotel with excellent service and facilities. The building and interiors with soviet-time sculptures, paintings and especially the famous "Moscow panorama" are wonderful. The hotel has a feeling of luxury and elegance. Comfortable and well designed rooms with great views. Good restaurants. Great service. Big minus - business room not available.
