Nice stay
Older hotel, but nice and well equipped. In a great location. Room was clean. Very nice breakfast (for a price). AC did not work all that well, could not adjust the temp or airflow.

Perfect location for exploring Trier. A beautiful city with so many interesting buildings. The hotel is lovely and easy to find. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking at 12 euros a night is a huge bonus. Public areas are very nice. Breakfast excellent with lots of choice. Our room was large, quiet, very clean and comfortable. Good wifi. Nothing to fault at all.

International Bus Tour Haven
Hotel was filled with several bus tours making it difficult to use the elevators, lobby and breakfast area. Parking was easy and cheap. Room was okay, clean, had opening windows and an AC. The bathroom was a surprise. The shower tub combo had a massive rain head shower with great water pressue, which was nice after our long day of touring. Breakfast was pricey.

Such a shame. Lack of service. Waiting 10min at bar and being ignored while others arrive and are served, room cleaning turning up at 9:10am on day of departure (12am ckeckout) and wanting to get in, cups in bathroom smelling of cigarettes, water bottle provided already open...

Room was cozy, had everything we needed. Very close walking to attractions, dining, bank, gas station. Super convenient. Pleasant English-speaking service desk attendants. Our stay was very positive.

The hotel is conveniently located with friendly staff. I disliked that the outdoor patio area is also the smoking area which does not give a welcome vibe to the Hotel.

Good Location for our Needs
The best thing about this hotel was its close proximity to the old town shopping. Just steps away. No mini fridge in the room, no ice machine. Had to sleep with the window wide open just to get some cool air. The charging station did not work with my phone. Thankfully, the receptionist gave us an adapter to ensure we could charge our phones. But only one at a time. It was a good location, and the breakfast was good ($25 for two). Other than that, not much to recommend.

Great friendly help at the desk, immaculately clean and comfy room albeit the shower fitting was a bit challenging. We like a window open and there as a bit too much vocal street noise, but hey, Christmas Market time.

I was on the 4th floor and it is very noisy: we can hear people opening their doors as if we were in the corridor! I could also hear the alarm clock of my neighbour. Otherwise the staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast good for a decent price.

Best option in Trier!
After a terrible experience with Ricks City Hotel 2, including rat feces on their "clean" sheets, we had to hurriedly book this one. What a change! Amazing service at the counter, clean and warm rooms, and a fantastic, clean bed. We loved it! The young men working at reception are incredible hosts and will do the impossible to make you feel at home. I will never staty anyhere else but there.

Breakfast (and sometimes WiFi) not included...
We booked the hotel for the free WiFi as we would need it for genealogical research while in Trier. WiFi went out at 10:30 pm on first day of our stay, was out all of the 2nd day, and finally came back in the evening of the 3rd day. This ruined our plan. Hotel was apologetic and comped our breakfast. My wife had asked if breakfast was included and was told “Yes”, but on checkout we were told “No” and they wanted to charge us for it.

Good one to stay
The hotel 10 min walk from trier suid train station and 1 min for buss station and 5 min for the shopping area and restaurants, staff helpful the lady on the Receiption was supper helpful always smiling I don’t like the breakfast there they should make sure to clean the area well and close the cheese boxes and eggs overall the hotel good

Restaurant is excellent big and clean and is a restaurant, food is plentiful of various types , and fresh. Staff in the hotel lobby is honest and helpful.

Das Hotel, obwohl die Inneneinrichtung etwas veraltet ist, ist super sauber und die Betten sind sehr weich und gemütlich. Alles war perfekt aufgeräumt und sauber, Hygiene hat bei ihnen oberste Priorität. Das Personal legt großen Wert auf Freundlichkeit und Wohlbefinden, sie sind sehr sympathisch. Die Servicekräfte sind sehr zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist sehr nah an der Stadt und man kann mit dem Bus ganz leicht überall hinkommen. Ich würde es jedem weiterempfehlen, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt.
