The dead bolt on door was broken, the shower had long black hairs on the upper part of it and the remote control needed batteries.

Better Review if Cheaper

If the room was under $70 I'd offer a much different review. For the price we paid, I expect there to be a smoke detector in the room. I expect there to be clean towels and toilet paper in the room. I expect the stairs to not be rusting. I expect the A/C to be running when I get into the room. I expect there not to be slime on the hand hold in one of the showers. Overall the condition of the hotel is falling into disrepair and it needs to be remodeled. If you're not going to remodel it you need to lower your prices. I will not be staying at America's Best Value ever again.

VERY DISSATISFIED

I didn't stay. I was very unpleased with the room and customer service that I received. I wanted a non smoking room, because I have asthma. The room that was given to me smelled like smoke. I tried to explain to the manager and she was VERY rude. She claimed I was being "PICKY", but I know my condition more than anyone. I couldn't get a refund, I had to find another hotel.
