AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I would give 0 star if I could. This place is a scam. It charges you extra fees from your credit card that you were never informed of at the time of booking and told you it’s “extra required taxes”. Meanwhile, they couldn’t tell you what “tax” exactly it was when you ask for the actual provision in the tax act and told you to talk to Expedia. Of course Expedia wouldn’t be able to do anything and would tell you “it’s in our terms and conditions that you might be charged extras by the hotel and it has nothing to do with us”. Just RUN it’s a SCAM.

Due to a July 1 provincial government change in the way online merchants are being taxed, Expedia is not collecting the entire amount of taxes due on reservations made in BC. There is a shortfall when we enter your pre-paid reservation in our system. As we are bound by provincial law to collect and remit the entire taxable amount on all reservations, we must collect the difference from Expedia guests on departure. Thank you.

The property was average for the high price tag. The 2 bedroom suite was outdated, the shower in the master bedroom was too small maybe 30 inches by 30 inches and no coffee machine or keurig maker in the room. The toilet was super loud when you flushed it. The jets in the hot tub did not work properly so it was basically a big bathtub. We would not stay here again but stay in whistler.

We stayed three nights with our dog. The staff were amazing. Very dog friendly with excellent trails right from the property. Loved the large clean room with kitchenette. Cannot wait to go back.

The only hotel in Pemberton I would recommend . Pro - room is clean, good location, nice amenities, parking. Con - mattress was uncomfortable.

Lodge area is cozy and room is very comfortable. Staff has been very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location if not thinking about skiing every day. Great value

Be very careful, on check-in they mentioned they'll charge us $20 for our stay that they claimed its some kind of tax. But on checkout it went up to $40.

Great staff!
The hotel staff are amazing. Stayed over during Christmas and they did a great job ! The extra touch was the “ house dog” wandering the lobby to greet you ( wearing his Christmas sweater) to make things just a little more homelike.

This is my fourth time staying here in the past 10 years. Always the same friendly service. Quality, comfortable and very welcoming. We love Pemberton — add in the restaurants, cafes and local shops, the PVL is the cherry on top :)

Lovely rooms
Absolutely beautiful hotel. Our only complaint is that you cant get a king sized bed in any room. Having a husband who is 6’5” makes a king bed essential. Checkin staff were lovely and friendly, cleaning staff do a great job, room set up is comfortable and cozy. But we slept poorly just because of the bed situation. Talking to another couple who were staying there as well they had the same complaint.

Lovely stay
A really nice stay. Nice bed, comfy room. Lovely lobby. Some staff were lovely, others a little frosty. Really nice products in the room. Very convenient location.

This Lodge located just pass the intersection of Pemberton city center and Sea to Sky highway. There are some nice restaurants around here. Especially the Big Sky Golf Country Club is about 5 minutes drive. Staffs here are nice, environment is quite and nice, the only one thing is the air conditioner. It turns on for 5 minutes and turns off for few minutes, then turns on again. When it turns on, there’s a big noise that makes you awake the whole night. I am not sure about other rooms, but happened to me during my stay.

The property is older; the walls and halls transmit noise; the beds are only queen size; the walls, showers, tile, rugs, etc, all show the wear of aging; we struggled to sleep and left very tired. On the plus side the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Overpriced for an old hotel!
Hotel is overpriced for what it has to offer. The mattress is soft and old. The old refrigerator made noise all night and the air conditioning was noisy. Service reception desk personnel wasn’t friendly or helpful. Not a place I would pick again in my future travels.

They charge additional fees because I booked the rooms thru the Expedia App. I requested an invoice of the additional charge, they were not able to provide what is charged for, they insist invoice will only email to me after one pm while I discharge at 10:30am. The invoice that emailed to me after one pm was of a different room number. I don’t know when to compliant.

Overall good. Room a bit tired, needs upgrade. Bizarre shower, no enclosure on last half. Water goes all over the floor everywhere. Bonus large spacious underground parking spots. Staff excellent.
