I choose this property because I love Hilton. But this property is look very old inside, a lot things need to be fixed by maintenance department, the property smell isn’t good, elevators very dirty. Housekeeping department needs to put more attention. The little window in the room is very unsafe, I was very scary when my grandson opened because it is very easy to open.

The HVAC would not switch from heat to cool. It was very warm and dry in the room. The property has signs posted that it is under renovation. That is long overdue.

The hotel is out there. It still has the carpet from when it was the high house many years ago. It’s a beautiful place. Let me refreeze it. It could be a beautiful place. It’s very big very Ruby outdated

The property has a separate enclosed party area. Unbeknownst to me, there is exceedingly loud gospel music until 11:00 on Fri. & 11:30 on Sat. NOT ACCEPTIBLE!

A reasonable place to stay
Doubletree provides an average experience. The hotel is typically quiet during my past Xmas time visits, and this year was no exception.

We understand that there are renovations going on and look forward to the end result. The room was quiet, bed comfortable and employees courteous. Hopefully, the renovations will include bathrooms as ours showed signs of water damage and age

The curtains in the room were filthy and the doors on the closet completely missing. The rugs were dirty and the water was cold. The bed was comfy and clean. The front desk was amazing! Love the lobby and the cookies! I know they are renovating so I can’t wait to return to see the new rooms.

50 per day charges upfront fees
They charge $50 per night authorization charges up front I did not like that What if I was not prepared or could not so that made a poor experience of hotel's management & was not listed on hotels.com when booking The property uses 1 hvac pipe system so bring a fan or a heater until they finish renovating it The staff were all very friendly Nice walking areas Overall a great stay The tub water came out brown but clear from the shower head was uncomfortable I think the rate should be less than what I paid because it was uncomfortable hvac and the tub's loose wall tiles reported also to front desk The restaurant gives ALOT of food and strong drinks Again overall nice stay Vending machine is a bit too expensive

My room had a leak that dripped on me as I tried to use the sink to wash my face, brush my teeth, etc. There were huge tears in my the carpet and sloppy attempts at repairs in the ceiling throughout the room. Both the night and daytime managers (Bob and Sharif) said that they were “well aware of the conditions of the room”, but somehow still put us, or any guests for that matter, in it?! Deplorable and disgusting, not to mention unprofessional!!

They have very nice staff at the Double Tree. They are under going a renovation so the building is a little dirty but totally understandable. My room was very quiet and comfortable. Great location close to a nice shopping center with plenty of places to eat dinner.

It was fine for a moderate priced hotel. Convenient to Philadelphia and cheaper than hotels in the city. But it is definitely showing some wear - esp in the bathrooms. And the restaurant was pretty marginal. Food was ok, but they advertise room service and then don’t answer the phone when you call - front desk confirmed this — and kind of ignore you if you show up in person. Bed and room were fine.

This place looks great online but don't be fooled! The hotel is poorly kept & smells horrible. It was so bad that all I did was shower in my room before I left for elsewhere. I still felt dirty after the shower.
