Good location for longer stay

Posted Nov 23, 2016
Pros: Kitchen area
Cons: Table to eat at besides the desks provided. Also fitness center.
Location: Right off I 295 and Rt 70. Quiet street. We visited family all week so didn't look for them now to do nearby.
We needed to be near Kingston Estates area to visit family for a week. Liked having kitchen for breakfast and lunch at hotel. They provide minimum utensils. Would have liked a bigger table in room to eat at though. Two desks were available so we ate separately. No fitness center either so walked the halls. Provided coffee in am and granola bars and muffins. We liked having the coffee ready made but planned our own breakfast in room. TV reception was often interrupted by searching for signal. The bed was very comfortable and the dark shades were great for sleeping in. All in all very pleased with visit.

Terrible customer service.

Posted Nov 20, 2016
My reservation was for 2 rooms. The desk clerk gave 1 of my rooms to another party by mistake. The manager refused to take responsibility for their mistake. I had to pay for another reservation. The manager was rude and uncooperative. Worst check-in experience ever.

Thank you for your review. I apologize for your experience. However, I am still a little confused as to what happened. I spoke directly to your brother, who informed me his wife had made the reservations for you and the other guest. When I spoke to her in person two days later she showed me the reservation, which was made for the wrong dates. In addressing the issue, we accommodated your needs, and additionally we provided you one of the nights completely complementary for the inconvenience you experienced. Again, I do apologize for the issues you experienced, and hope you will choose to stay with Extended Stay America in the future.

You get what you pay for.

Pros: I like how affordable it was. How I was provided with kitchen things. Room was well stocked with personal items.
Cons: The hall smelled strongly of smoke, although I did pick a smoking floor it would be nice if it didn't seem like a smoking floor by the smell.
Location: Location is okay. We wanted to order pizza but so may places don't deliver because of its location.
This hotel was very affordable. Getting checked in was fast and easy. The room was nice. I did stay in a smoking room, although I didn't like the whole hall to smell like smoke. It would have been nice for the area to smell better, it was very strong and I wish it would have seemed like it was not a smoking floor. My key to get into the room didn't always work and I would have to go get a new key a couple of times. They provide kitchen item's which was nice. Having a small kitchen included with such a nice price was awesome!

I can't believe I slept with someone else's hair

Posted Sep 21, 2016
I checked in this Hotel saying to myself not bad!!! It has a small kitchen. My visit to this area was because I had death in my family. I only had time to check in and leave. I come back to my room dead tired. I fall asleep to wake up to lots of hair that wasn't even mines all over the floor near the night stand. I mean a ball of hair. No one ever pulled behind the chair to even vacuum because item's including the hair was on the floor. I started checking my room for other dirty items. Bathroom had hair all over the toilet. I don't even believe my sheets was even changed. Shame on me for not checking my room before I left before for my family viewing . I called front desk to tell them . I ask can I get a housekeeper to clean all the items I found dirty. They told me it's $10 for housekeeper to come clean my room. Are you serious! It was never cleaned from the beginning! There was no wash clothes in the room. I had to request for it. That was Free! No ice in the Hotel but there was empty ice trays in the freezer! They did move me to another room. But it did cause me to run late for cousin's funeral because I had to transfer my thing's to another room.

Ok hotel meets basic needs

Posted Sep 4, 2016
The hotel meets normal needs. The room is clean, hotel employees are friendly and efficient. The breakfast consists of a granola bar, a bag of oatmeal with a cup, and a muffin. The sheets are changed every 7 days and cost $10.00 any other time. For the kitchen you have to ask for every item from.dishes to pots and pans.

Very slow free Wi-Fi. Bed sheets did not smell clean. Lots of food in walking distance. Easy access to highways. Pretty quiet. Nice big rooms with kitchens and two desks.

Hard to find but lovely once there.

Very pleasant, quiet, and close to where I needed to go. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wireless was ok, not great, but fine for an overnight. One note, my GPS could not find this place.

Hotel Was Fine, Amenities Missing

Posted Aug 23, 2016
Pros: I liked the kitchen ... if I could have used it!
Cons: Utensils, pots, pans, plates!
Location: It's right off the highway, which was nice. We went across the river to a show in Philadelphia, which was easy and quick.
I picked this hotel because of the kitchen facilities. Bizarrely, there was stove and refrigerator, but not a single utensil or pan. Not even glasses for the bathroom! Nothing at all.
