Room lacked cleaning and noisy guest above

Room lacked cleaning. When we walked into the restroom the toilet paper dispense had an empty roll hanging on it. But there was a new roll on the counter so we swapped it out. Next we tried and tried to get some rest but the guests above us had some kind of Wrestling match or body slamming competition because that’s all we heard from about 1am to almost 4 am. And lastly we found a live lice crawling in the bed after sleeping on it. No, it didn’t come from us. We are very cleaning and constantly watch our children for these things. It was the 2nd time staying at an Extended Stay and will be the last. The first experience was no better. Sorry. Staff was polite and tried to resolve but those things just leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Probably the Worst Experience Ever

Pros: The staff were polite, manager did his best to accommodate me even though it was the day we were checking out. Staff needs to be more knowledgable.
Cons: Everything needs to be improved.
Location: The location of the hotel is nice. it's about 30 minutes from the city and there's tons to eat and do in that area.
From the very beginning this hotel was a nightmare! The room was dark and musty. There were broken shelving units, the telephone line was not connected, wifi kept cutting out. There were not enough towels or wash cloths for two people, and when asked, the front desk stated that they were out of those items. There was no remote for the room so for the first day we had to get up and down to change the channel. There weren't any kitchen supplies in the room and we had a kitchenette. One of the hotel staff had promised to have those items waiting for us, however that did not happen. House keeping did not come to even clean the rooms until late in the afternoon or early evening. The staff was nice however they were not knowledgable and didn't take the time to listen to what you were saying before giving their input. I have to say the only nice thing about that entire stay was the manager on the last day who tried to get everything sorted out, however by then we were checking out so it was too late. I would've been better off just paying a higher rate or traveling down a little further to the Candlewood Suites. I felt like I was staying in a Motel 8. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I think the current 3 star rating is too high.

The lobby and room smelled like smoke, even though we were in a nonsmoking room. The room was clean and tidy. A blow dryer was not included in the room (not a big deal but caused an inconvenience).

Cons: Lobby size. Breakfast selection. Staff needs extra training. Someone needs to check rooms for the necessities.
Lobby is way too small! Smoking policy is not enforced. Bathroom is small.

Okay for the price

Cons: Lobby size, breakfast size. Elevator needs repair. Enforce the no smoking policy!
Very small lobby, too small! Was advertised as free breakfast, but it was a grab and go, just muffins, coffee, hot tea, cocoa. No fruit, no juice, no place to sit down. Missing hair dryer in room, desk clerk couldn't find a single one, even went across the street for one, came back empty handed. In evening, at least five people were sitting in the very small lobby, drinking like there was no tomorrow. Elevator is slow and noisy. Bathroom is small, but workable. Non smoking hotel, but man was smoking a cigar in the hallway when we arrived.

Pros: The employees were nice.
Cons: Too much to list. Absolutely nothing like Expedia had advertised.
We walked into our room and it smelled horrible because the toilet had overflowed feces. There was no coffee pot, cups, hairdryer, shampoo, etc. Had to ask for clean towels at the front desk. They couldn't find any shampoo in the whole hotel . Breakfast was advertised, but all they had was coffee, granola bars and a few packaged muffins. Our room was never cleaned. We found out later that cleaning your room was an extra fee. The carpet was filthy. All of our white socks were black.
