I've stayed here in the past and had a very good experience and was looking forward to coming back. This time however, there were several major problems, the first of which being the odor in the hallway. In the specific hallway where my room was, the hallway smelled like vomit for about 2/3 of the hall. We told the front desk about this and they addressed it in someway but the odor remained but was less bad. When we told them the following day, they also addressed it and this time it was very much improved but still slightly noticeable. We were informed that this was a recurrent problem with this particular area of the building.
Also, the room cleaning was inconsistent. One day we came back to the room and there was no bathmat in the bathroom. Another day, one of the trashcans was not emptied.
As far as the breakfast, I had been looking forward to it since my last trip, since I hadn't quite make it down in time for the breakfast buffet. During that previous stay, the al la carte meal was terrific. During this stay, the breakfast buffet was disappointing if you're a egg, meat, and potatoes type. The freshly cooked to order omelette was great. The potatoes were rather large, flavorless chunks, the bacon was razor thin, and the sausage greasy. There was quite a variety of breads and the fresh cut fruit looked delicious but I didn't try it.
