Good location for our purposes.Posted Aug 13, 2015
Cons: Tub stopper.
The only thing unsettling was the bath tub stopper would not hold water.

Pittsburgh South Hills HotelPosted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Very attentive staff (front desk, maids, and restaurant). Great breakfasts in the hotel restaurant.
Cons: Add hot tub or whirl pool to pool area. Bathroom could use an update. No refrigerator in room.
Location: The best choice to stay in the heart of the South Hills area of Pittsburgh for a business or family visit. Near mall and the trolly.
This was a pleasant and convenient place to stay near family and friends in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.

RoachPosted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: The bed and pillows.
Cons: Extermination of pests!
I found a roach climbing up the wall behind my bed. Of course I killed it. And, of course, I didn't sleep well that night, I also shook everything out before I used the towels or put on my shoes! I told the person at the front desk about the roach, and her response was blah! No apology, no compensation, nothing!!!!

Travelled with petPosted Jul 6, 2015 on Hotels
Very nice service. Easy parking, good food. We travelled with our dog and it never felt awkward or uncomfortable, like we were unwelcome just because we had our dog with us.

Very nice!Posted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: Most everything
Location: Right by a mall so lots of good restaurant choices as well as a nearby movie theater
Very much enjoyed our time at the Crowne Plaza. We were traveling from coast to coast and this was our last hotel stop and the best one of the trip. Easy check in, comfy room. Nice amenities. We had two dogs with us and everyone was friendly and accommodating with them. They even had an area out on the side of the hotel just for pets. I definitely recommend for anyone traveling with pets!

Comfortable, but unusualPosted Jun 29, 2015 on Hotels
I ended up extending my stay two nights because of the location. There's a lot to do right around the hotel. The staff was very polite and accommodating. My complaints were that my bathroom smelled. The scent reminded me of dirty, sweaty gym clothes. And there were also some weird, elderly people hanging out in the common areas most of the time. I started to wonder if a portion of the hotel was used as a retirement or nursing home. I switched rooms after the first night and the floor I was moved to was much nicer than the level I was previously on. The room itself served its purpose, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The walls were fairly thin and I could hear people in the hall and in the adjoining rooms.
