Good hotel, very poor shuttle service

The hotel was good, friends and I stayed there mainly because of the free shuttle to the casino. Early check-in was no problem and the staff was happy to give me free toiletries when I (stupidly) forgot my entire backpack at home 100 miles away. The free breakfast was even pretty good. The hitch, and the only reason I'm writing my first hotel review, is that the shuttle was a huge disappointment. I stood waiting for at least 45 minutes after calling both the hotel and the driver himself, then when they showed up the van filled up right in front of me and I was the lone person left standing curbside, and they promised they'd be right back to get me! So I walked back to the hotel, at least a mile, in pitch darkness, vowing that I would be spreading the word. Here I am. I understand Baymont Inn & Suites contracts this shuttle and it's not all their fault. But, I feel they must be made aware that it ruined my impression of the hotel stay.

I want to personally apologize for your poor experience with our shuttle service. I understand how this issue can lead to a disappointing stay. I have contacted our shuttle service to ensure that this does not happen again. We want all of our guests to have a great experience with their entire stay. We do hope that you might give us a second chance in the future!
