Stayed as alternative to Soaring Eagle

The hotel was minimally booked---as evidenced by the barish parking lot---and yet all of us were apparently located adjacent to one another's walls. I knew the latter because THE WALLS WERE PAPER THIN!!! I abhor this phenomenon in any hotel, much less an undercooked one I paid over $125/night for a very small, but nice, room

The room was not what I paid for. I paid for a jacuzzi room never got it and never will come back.

Mt. Pleasant is pleasant.

Pros: The friendliness of the staff. They could not be better.
Cons: The dust on heating coils smelled for a minute when turned on. That is all.
Location: I don't know. We spent all our time elsewhere

Pros: The pool was warm not like other hotels
Cons: no hot tub
Location: great so much to do
room very clean, beds so comfortable, staff was awesome, heated pool , breakfast was ok,

Better sound insulation and soft water needed.

From 3 am until 4:30 am conversations from the adjoining room prevented sleep. Initially I thought there were people in the corridor directly adjacent to the door to my room, I even opened the door expecting to ask them to take their conversation elsewhere. The conversation did not seem to be excessively loud, rather it seemed that there was inadequate sound deadening between the rooms. Note: These rooms were equipped with a set of double doors between them. My other major complaint concerned the poor quality of the water supply which was extremely hard. Finally, the designated area for the guests' breakfast was extremely congested. It was under sized and under served. The wait for refills was nearly as frustrating as the wait for seating. The hotel staff did make alight adjustment to my bill but nothing could make up for the loss of uninterrupted sleep.
