Fishing and Shrimping base camp

Pros: Value, location, clean and functional.
Cons: Not much, significantly remodeled and cleaned up in the past few years.
Location: Patriots Point, Shem Creek dining and fishing, Charleston just over the bridge.
Vastly improved in the past several years. Rooms are clean, well appointed, quiet. Good parking. Close to lots of dining and supplies. Not a great neighborhood but safe inside. Cautions posted regarding leaving valuables in your car (or gear in your boat).

Travel experience

The Hotel was good for what I needed it for but could used a refrigerater/cooler and a coffee maker but I'm not hard to get along with . I did like the location and the staff was exceptional great!.

Ok hotel for overnight in Charleston

Comfortable room for overnight. Coffee and tea in lobby was too far from the room though. Otherwise no complaints.

Close to charleston

I always stay red roof in because my fur baby can come with. This one was great because it was close to so much and very easy to get to to. Staff was nice with that aouthern charm.

Nice staff. Comfortable room. Did not upgrade so no fridge or microwave. Safe did not work. Very convenient to Charleston.

Decent Hotel Stay

Hotel stay was acceptable. Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful. Room was in need of an update but overall clean. The only thing I would change is the way housekeeping checks rooms for those departing that day. Check out time is 12 noon. Housekeeping came to room twice before 10 am; opening the door without permission one of those times.
