Nice hotel with view of Mt. RushmorePosted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: It was clean and comfortable with a wonderful view of Mt. Rushmore and close to the great tourist town of Keystone, SD. It had a small breakfast.
Cons: Better breakfast choices
Location: It was a great location to drive the scenic drive to Custer State Park. Mt. Rushmore was only 2 miles away. The town had great shops and restaurants.
This was a very comfortable hotel near the great town of Keystone, SD, and a wonderful view of Mt. Rushmore from the balcony. I would stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.

Good location, close to mt RushmorePosted Sep 11, 2013
Cons: More choice of warm food for the breakfast. fix the pool and hot tub.
Location: The location is very good. It's very close to Mt Rushmore in Keystone.
The continental breakfast is limited. Mainly cold foods. We ended up going out for breakfast instead due to lack of hot food. There is not really a place to eat. The food was setup in the "lobby area". One of the reasons we stayed there is that the breakfast was part of the cost. Which, isn't much of a breakfast considering the cost. Probably could have stayed somewhere else and gotten a better selection of food. Plus, the pool and hot tub were out of service.

Pros: Just Location.
Cons: A little remodeling would definitely help, also where there must have been a fridge it was all nailed shut.
Location: Good location and close to everything.
It was just bare bones. No fridge and the pool was closed. The beds were OK and the cleanliness was OK, but it is very dated. The only good thing to say was you could walk to most of the shopping and restaurants.

From the parking lot you can look directly at Mt Rushmore. Nice restaurants nearby and couple blocks from tourist shopping.

Travel Lodge at KeystonePosted Jul 28, 2013
Pros: Really not much at all
Cons: Everything. Staff that speaks English, knowledge of the town, clean or replace carpets, etc
Location: Mt Rushmore, nice shops
We were very disappointed in the quality of this hotel.. We asked if they could either direct us to a post office or mail some cards for us. His response was there must be one here somewhere but I have no idea where. Unbelievable! They had no laundry, no refrigerator , micro wave, and the carpets needed either replaced or cleaned.
