Great place to stay! Had my dog with me and this hotel allows dogs...:). So definitely will be back. Has great restaurant and had an amazing breakfast!
Beautiful place ! Staff was very friendly and the view was beautiful .
Very relaxing and spacious home with large bedrooms beautifully decorated throughout. Views of Mt.Shasta from some rooms and the large front porch. Nice little hiking trail nearby, birds and wildlife abound.
The rooms are nice and clean.. The beds are good. The staff is friendly. Breakfast could be better. It contains only carbs, not good for people on a low carb diet.
We checked in and found ourselves in a room across from some kind of construction or remodel was happening. Three times after entering and locking our room someone tried walking in - with a key! We chose this hotel because it’s dog friendly. I’m so glad we didn’t end up bringing our dogs! Because ...
We were comfortable and happy with our stay. Nothing special about the place, but a satisfactory place for our 3 might stay in the area
Good old fashioned motel. I was immediately reminded of Oregon beach motels. Decorating is exceptional. We would prefer an earlier breakfast and doubt the need for two refrigerators in such a small room. Overall very cozy and good.
The Railroad House in McCloud, CA was really great. The hosts were very nice, the home was a wonderland of train memorabilia, the breakfast was fantastic. They even made a birthday card and special breakfast for my son on his day. If you are visiting the area, especially with children that like trains, ...
Quiet with very friendly and accommodating staff.Breakfast was hot and very good
This was the most beautiful historical building we have ever stayed in. The staff was awesome. Can't wait to go back someday.
Check in was easy and friendly, I had a nice chat with the woman checking me in. The room was nice and clean and the whole place was quiet. We were there just for the night but would stay again. Was very happy with the room, and especially happy with the price.
The Lodge was in good condition and very clean. Proprietor was very accommodating. The property has 2 destination Tesla Chargers which is very convenient for EV travelers. Our room was provided with delious coffee and real half n half. Bathroom was a little tight but had new fixtures and was immaculate. ...
Reasonably-priced hotel with two separate rooms and three beds for a reasonable price. Walking distance to restaurants and all that Mt.Shasta City has to offer. Close to coffee shop for morning fresh-brewed coffee. Friendly proprietor.
Some think of vacationing and envision sunbathing and the sound of waves crashing on the shore of an exotic beach. Getting to Mount Shasta could be difficult if you are traveling with all your clunky gear. If you forgot something you need for your time on the mountains, there are sporting goods stores in town where you can quickly buy some last-minute items once you get to Mount Shasta. We'll keep our fingers crossed that you and your thrill-seeking pals will get to do some shredding on an epic bluebird powder day, or a morning when there has been a fresh snowfall. There's nothing like the enlivening sensation of gliding the mountains on the easygoing bunny slopes or difficult black diamonds. If you need some help as you start your shredding, check and see if there are any instructors available to help you get started, so you will not catch an edge on your way to the bottom.
Once you finish off a day on the slopes, you might need some time to thaw out. Ask your concierge about any warmer activities in Mount Shasta to help you get some heat back. There may be some family-friendly activities, such as roasting s'mores over a bonfire, board games at the hotel, nearby movie theaters, or bowling alleys. Maybe they can suggest a few adults-only options as well, like a 21 and up club, a ski-in bar, or a spa on the hotel property. When you decide to call it a day, you will have a freshly-made bed and a room full of amenities to help you have a relaxing night. What are you waiting for? You're just minutes away from your booked ski-cation!
