Perfect location for my son and I for incredible fly-fishng.
great stepping off place to see all the natural wonders of the Shasta area. peaceful, secluded, beds extremely comfortable. couldn't make the tv work but that was a plus to me - just the peace and tranquillity. Really enjoyed the hammock swing too. would definitely book it again!
Serene and emersed amongst the pine trees around Lake Siskiyou this resort is great for peace and quiet. There's a 7 mile hike around the lake accessible from the cabins. The lake is clear blue and commands an appreciation for nature.

We went with a group for a retreat. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent but the bathroom was a little cramped by the toilet, which is just about the only negative thing I can think of. The tap water was good enough to drink. The staff ...

Since the ratings of this motel is 2.9. The room was clean, plenty of pillows (extra pillows in drawers just in case you are looking for), microwave, fridge, all the essentials. The only complaint is the shower in bathroom is kind of small, so when you turn on the shower, water pulling everywhere. ...

Good old fashioned motel. I was immediately reminded of Oregon beach motels. Decorating is exceptional. We would prefer an earlier breakfast and doubt the need for two refrigerators in such a small room. Overall very cozy and good.

The Railroad House in McCloud, CA was really great. The hosts were very nice, the home was a wonderland of train memorabilia, the breakfast was fantastic. They even made a birthday card and special breakfast for my son on his day. If you are visiting the area, especially with children that like trains, ...
This hotel is a wonder place to stay. The staff was fantastic, the food was wonderful, the room was clean and comfortable, the town was quiet. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Will definitely be coming back.

The pictures do not do this home justice. It's in an amazing location, great privacy, and room for everyone. Very well maintained and clean, we will definitely stay here again when we return.
We recently stayed at The Gilden Lodge for a family occasion. This property is the most wonderful, well appointed house in the Mt. Shasta area. It has four distinct bedrooms which accommodated our complete family. All the adults and the children had a fantastic time, as the lodge made our vacation ...
Check in was easy and friendly, I had a nice chat with the woman checking me in. The room was nice and clean and the whole place was quiet. We were there just for the night but would stay again. Was very happy with the room, and especially happy with the price.

This is a good rental with a very well stocked kitchen--perhaps the best I've seen in a VRBO rental! The rental is on the main street about 5 blocks to downtown. The street was quiet from traffic by midnight. The king room is on the street side so if you are sensitive to noise, this may be a consideration. ...
Myself and two friends really felt comfortable and at home in this property. The beds were all comfortable and nicely dressed. All three bedrooms were inviting and comfortable. Outdoor area nice and useable. Enjoyed the trees and the neighbouring cat who visited. We did however nearly go into the ...

Getting to Mount Shasta could be difficult if you are traveling with all your clunky gear. If you forgot something you need for your time on the mountains, there are sporting goods stores in town where you can quickly buy some last-minute items once you get to Mount Shasta. We'll keep our fingers crossed that you and your thrill-seeking pals will get to do some shredding on an epic bluebird powder day, or a morning when there has been a fresh snowfall. There's nothing like the enlivening sensation of gliding the mountains on the easygoing bunny slopes or difficult black diamonds. If you need some help as you start your shredding, check and see if there are any instructors available to help you get started, so you will not catch an edge on your way to the bottom.
Once you finish off a day on the slopes, you might need some time to thaw out. Ask your concierge about any warmer activities in Mount Shasta to help you get some heat back. There may be some family-friendly activities, such as roasting s'mores over a bonfire, board games at the hotel, nearby movie theaters, or bowling alleys. Maybe they can suggest a few adults-only options as well, like a 21 and up club, a ski-in bar, or a spa on the hotel property. When you decide to call it a day, you will have a freshly-made bed and a room full of amenities to help you have a relaxing night. What are you waiting for? You're just minutes away from your booked ski-cation!
