3/5 Okay

My Shasta Retreat in August
Our stay in the 3BR 2BA lower level of this 3 unit 2 story building was OK. The building is on the corner of 2 streets and near a railroad crossing with periodic train horns at night. There is no picture of the exterior of the building because it is not very appealing. The private game room was great. It was a savior given we could not venture out much during our visit due to the severe forest fire smoke.

5/5 Excellent

Great getaway with amazing game room
Very roomy and comfortable stay. The game room is amazing. Myself and my two adult sons stayed here and had a great time. The only thing we wished it had was air conditioning. Cools off fairly well at night though so slept with the windows open.

5/5 Excellent

Ski Trip
The property was great, loved the game room, it really made it worth choosing that property. Kitchen could use a few more supplies, but overall was good.

5/5 Excellent

Such a fun spot!
The game room was such a big hit for all of us! I would recommend making a video of the property before hand- there were a few things that weren’t where they belonged or broken, nothing major but just to be safe!

4/5 Good

Good house with a few quirks
I stayed here with my family recently. Check in was easy and had no problems. The house was very clean when we arrived and very homey. The inside of the house is good. The bedrooms are nice. The bathrooms are nice. The kitchen is under stocked. I had planned to make meals but there was no pot to cook with. There is no garbage disposal and there is a major ant problem, probably just from being in the wilderness but they were everywhere. The game room is awesome and a great space for a family. I wish the listing told us that the house is on the street and cars would be driving right by our heads ans shining their lights at our heads all night. The train is also across the street and blows every 90 minutes to 2 hours, 24 hours a day. It blows its horn in the middle of the night all night.
