"Beautiful historic inn set in the tranquility of mother nature, across from Pleasant Lake with trails in walking distance. Beautiful grounds with views of the lake from its many tables on a terrace, or if you prefer chairs on the lawn. After an hour long hike, I returned to have a delicious glass of Chardonnay on the terrace while listening to the birds. I was graced with witnessing a majestic blue heron fly by toward the lake...priceless... The room is clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The inn offers sitting rooms, a fireplace, games, books, and a dining area looking out onto the lake...just beautiful, comfortable and serene..."

"The owners are so kind, friendly, and thoughtful! I stayed here the night before the eclipse, and because they knew people wanted to leave early the next day to beat the eclipse traffic, they moved up the start of breakfast (poached eggs and bacon hash, yum!) an hour. The hotel is beautiful and has wonderful views of the surroundings, including the lake, from windows. There is a nice loop around the lake that can be done, and hiking trails nearby. There is a cozy atmosphere in the winter, when there will be small fires burning in the common areas where guests can mingle and relax."

"Huge comfortable suits, great for families. Loft has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus living room, dining room, and full kitchen. Also gas fireplaces (though may not be running) which creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Pool, hot tub, and sauna were in great condition. Highly recommend. "
