When I complained the TV was not operational & the sofa was stained & smelled, the hotel said to complain to EXPEDIA. I received no maid service & had to call for towels on day 2. I learned quickly that if you don’t book directly with the hotel they refer you back to Expedia. Very in convenient

I liked that it was right off the highway and easy to find . It was also very nice looking when you walked in and smelled really good in there . Everyone was friendly . But the stay wasn’t worth 133.00 a night . Our tv didn’t work and our room phone didn’t work . Looked like the room wasn’t cleaned there was thick dust on the lamp shades and crumbs from someone else’s food still up against the boards to the bed under it . The conditioner bottle in the shower was empty . The free breakfast was okay . When we went down for breakfast some of the food trays were empty and took me a while to get coffee so we had to leave to go do what we were they to do. There was son brown stuff in the pool water by the filters not sure what that was . As we were leaving a lady at the front desk was upset and was checking out early because her tv didn’t work either she her toilet was clogged up and no one came to fix it . My daughter’s tv and phone in her room wasn’t working either .

Somehow Expedia booked my reservation for Sunday and it was supposed to be for Friday !! I showed up at the hotel on Friday and had to pay the hotel for my stay Friday and I was also charged for Sunday and I wasn’t even there.Im very upset

The property was dated. Our “balcony” was a gate across a door. Not at all what was expected, very disappointed with that, was not safe with the gap at the bottom of the door. Overall an average stay but nothing impressive. Breakfast was good and the restaurant staff was pleasant.

This area is very run down and that includes the hotel. We booked our stay through Expedia so when we arrived to find our room with a “balcony” was really a room with a door with bars on the other side (no step out) we questioned the staff but they said they couldn’t help us because they didn’t have any free rooms with balconies. We asked if they could give us a restaurant credit and they told us we had to talk to Expedia and they couldn’t help us. The room had no fridge (where it was supposed to have) and the phone didn’t work (no dial tone). They put us in an alternate room that didn’t have a balcony or door to the outside. Additionally, the vent in the shower was caked with dust and the floor of the shower was covered in mildew. Thankfully we only had to stay for one night.

Very Pleasant Surprise
This was a very pleasant surprise. Every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful. Customer Service was top- notch. The property could use an overall upgrade, but the bathrooms were upgraded and nice, and everything was clean. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The pool area was nice, and the hot tub was the prefect temperature. Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries smelled amazing. I can't emphasize enough, the most enjoyable part of this stay was the amazing.Customer Service. Kudos to the selecting and training of employees.

The lobby was nice and clean when I entered to check in. Didn’t have any issues the young lady at the front desk was very pleasant. She provided me with my room cards, complimentary breakfast tickets, and warm cookies; which were delicious by the way! I got upstairs to my room and when I entered the room the bed was lumpy like the sheets hadn’t been changed. So I moved the covers back and checked the bed one bed was messier than the other as far as how tight the sheets were on the bed. Then I set my bags down and went into the bathroom, there was dried piss all over the toilet seat, the shower floor was dirty the mirrors were nasty. I tried to call down to the front desk and the phone didn’t work so I had to go down to talk to the young lady. I showed her the picture of the seat alone and she switched my room and made my rate $120. I go back upstairs and the room is directly next door I entered the room and went into the bathroom and what is it? The the bathroom is not clean, hair dust and whatever else collects on the material seats not clean at all. Spider webs in the shower. I drove all the way from Chicago for 4 hours and had a prison visit for 4 hours. I just wanted to shower comfortably and get some rest. Instead I was cleaning the bathroom for my comfort. $ 120 a night Motel 6 is cleaner than that. It was totally unacceptable and unfortunate of an experience. Not sure if you have to be a Hilton Honors Member to get a clean room but that was totally unfortunate

We checked in late and the front desk lady was so kind and accommodating. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was good however, never advised about housekeeping coming in only every fourth day. It would have been nice to come back to beds made, fresh towels, and trash emptied. I had to see out towels daily.

Needs a little work.
First time at this Double Tree. I found it on the expensive side for what we stayed in room wise. The remote to the tv disnt work, getting into the mini fridge was a fight. Shower could have had more pressure and the bathroom definitely needed more light to shave and get ready. We didnt call the desk, we were tired from traveling and just needed rest. Also the road noise from the interstate was terrible. And housekeeping knocked on our door at 0830 to clean just because we disnt have the sign on the door. Check out was 11.

I Deserve A Refund!!!
Whenever, I visit family in Mount Vernon I always stay at tge Double Tree mainly because of the pool size. This time my stay was horrible. I was in room 504, the heating unit didn't work and I froze every night even with a extra cover. The refrigerator never got cold for my beverages. I had to flush the toilet twice even if I peed. And the door never fully opened or closed without making loud announcement to everyone on the floor.

This is an ok hotel for the area, the TV didn’t work—everytime we turned it on it scanned through all the analog channels, the shower floor left much to be desired, there were no rugs and barely enough towels. The light on one side of the bed flickered and never stopped, only one of the bathroom lights worked,

Upon check-in, we discovered that our room had been propped open by someone and we had to go back to the main desk and check in to another room... We paid for one king bed but got transferred to a double queen in a room that was adjoined to another room. This was frustrating because this is not a common occurrence for parties that are not staying together. We ended up being across from a small family that kept us up most of the night... We had stayed at this location previously but after the lack of cleanliness, room snafus, and the overall unprofessional demeanor of the staff, we will not be returning.

Unhelpful and unfriendly. Started by lecturing us on why we should book directly at the hotel. Staff responded to requests with “What do you want?” Acting like we were interrupting their private call. Inside the room, microwave missing and refrigerator in a cabinet so impossible to open that we had to call to get someone to open it. When we called about stay later, they repeatedly transferred us to a voice mailbox that was full and disconnected us, and seemed exasperated when we called back. Beds were comfortable, but attitude of staff made us feel unwelcome. At this price point would go elsewhere.
