Very clean room, and friendly and helpful staff!

Enjoyed my visit to the Super 8 in Mt. Vernon. Staff members very nice and the room was extra clean and comfy.

Quiet and clean

Expedia isn't good about sending my smoking preference through to the hotel staff, but the staff at this hotel asked me about it when we were checking in and got us in a non-smoking room. Room was fairly clean and fairly comfortable.

Super 8 was ok. It was clean and staff was friendly. There were a few cons but overall it was fine. Noise from the people in room above, corridors were dark and dreary, no place really to eat breakfast. Staff was friendly and competent. Overall I would give it 3.5. Just felt dreary and cramped.

Clean, good value, classic Super 8.

This hotel is a good value in an area with a lot of other hotels. The location is near some walkable (mostly fast food) places and a very nice service station. There was plenty of parking and I felt safe. The check in was fast and friendly. The room was clean, a little older, but the shower was not very good...the pressure was low. It was quiet. The breakfast was the typical Super 8, including sweet goods, instant oatmeal, and a waffle maker. It was well stocked.

Served it's purpose

It served it's purpose; not a bad stay but a little dated. For as much as they preached about non-smoking, the floor we were on reeked of stale smoke.

Arrived Early

Pros: The bed was very comfortable. Not too soft.
Hotel was located just all the exit. Not hard to find. We arrived early and our room was ready so we were able to get into the room. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Try the BBQ place, good was very good. Would stop there again.

Worse customer service EVER!!! My room reservation was cancelled and had no room when I got there. I had even stating I was going to be a late arrival. The staff was rude and said there was nothing they could do about it because my debit card was ran and had been declined ( I have never had my card ran before I got there). When they found a room when they seen the note about a late arrival, no rooms were available in what I reserved. I was told I could not pay with cash until checkout and had to provide a debit card (the same one that was declined was ran TWICE for the room!). When I checked out the amount was more than the total I had the night before and when I asked about the debits on my card (with proof of my checking account with the 2 debits), I was was told oh well and it should be cleared up in about 7 business days. beyond disappointed!!
