Would stay again

Posted May 21, 2017
Pros: Clean tidy centrally located with many places to eat nearby Opposite Pompeii entrance and five minutes walk to the lovely Church
Cons: All was good
Location: Centrally located with many places to eat nearby Opposite Pompeii entrance and five minutes walk to the lovely Church
Very nice hotel everywhere was clean and tidy the staff were very polite and helpful.Lovely gardens, peacful and relaxing. The dinind area was extremely nice with the option to have your meals out in the garden. Breakfast was sufficient with a reasonable choice of pastries, fruit, although the Coffee was rather poor. Would stay again.

Very

Very friendly staff and nice room. Breakfast was beyond our expectations. Our only frustration was not figuring out how to get English TV stations. Close walk to beautiful church. Free parking just short walk away.

Perfect Location

Posted Apr 18, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Make the rooms brighter
Location: Info centre opposite organises Ruins and Mt Vesuvius tours. Restaurant nearby called stuzzico by lucius, one of the best Italian Restaurants ever!!!!
This hotel is in a great location right beside Pompeii Ruins. We stayed one (family of four). You can park opposite the hotel in a public car park for free. The family room was ample big enough, very clean, although slightly dark. Breakfast was in the restaurant downstairs, continental, but very good. Overall a great place to stay if you want to visit the ruins and Mt Vesuvius

Location: Hotel Forum is situated in the town, opposite Pompei ruins near to the train stations.
The Hotel is opposite the Pompei ruins and about a 15min walk to the local train station at Pompei Scavi.

Close to Pompeii Ruins

Posted Apr 14, 2017
Pros: Proximity to Pompeii Ruins
Cons: Room was very dark
Location: Brilliant location
One night stay at the Forum hotel. Was close to ruins and info centre which we used for a Mt Vesuvius Tour. There is a restaurant near by called Stuzzico by Lucius which is excellent - family run business.

Can't Beat the Location

Posted Apr 4, 2017
Pros: The location (see earlier comments). If you visit in the spring time, do not miss the biggest lemons you will ever see growing in the hotel garden !
Stayed just one night in a Luxury Double room ($200 incl tax), which was comfortable but not really luxurious Overlooking the ancient Pompeii area, the hotel is just 50 yards from the Amphitheater entrance (less crowded). Very good breakfast (included in price of room) and extensive free bar snacks during late afternoon and evening. Parking is free but located a couple of hundred yards from the hotel - not really a problem because you will probably leave your car there for your entire stay in Pompeii. Hint: Don't rush your visit to Pompeii. Even a reasonably thorough exploration is well over a day. Staying a night (or more) at the Forum Hotel allows you to immerse yourself in the fascinating history. An unforgettable experience !
