Hotel in a good location

Posted Jul 8, 2016
Pros: The location, staff and reasonable price. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Cons: A need for a shuttle bus to the entrance of Pompeii ruins. Also, the exchange of money should be a priority at the hotel.
Location: Good location on Main Street. Many shops along same street, as well as restaurants with good food at reasonable prices. Beautiful basilica close by.
Good location near restaurants, shops, central piazza. Courteous staff. Small room but very clean, nice updated modern bath. No gym facility but cozy garden outside. Excellent breakfast buffet. However, a far walk to the Porta Marina entrance of Pompeii ruins.

Beautiful hotel close to Pompei ruins

Posted Jun 30, 2016
Pros: Staff, location, breakfast, garden
Cons: Our room was close to the foyer and could get a little noisy at times - nothing some earplugs couldn't solve.
Location: Fantastic location very close to one of the ruin entrances, trains to Herculaneum and Naples, tours to Vesuvius and Amalfi coast
We really loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly and were all prepared to help us out with getting around, recommending restaurants, and catching the train.

Great location for Pompei visit.

Perfect location to get up early and avoid the massive crowds at Pompei. Hotel quality was a real surprise upon driving in as the immediate area is a bit more rough around the edges.

A very good base to see Pompei and Campania

Posted May 23, 2016
Pros: Almost everything with the exception of the hot water problem mentioned above.
Cons: Email directions re. parking situation prior to arrival.
Definitely a 4-star standard. However, this being Italy, the hotel could not provide hot water for a shower or bath on two evenings out of five we stayed there. Just a step away, ruins of a 2,000 year civilization that apparently could solve the problem... I don't mean to be nasty, this is a general issue for the whole country, not this particular site. How could the ancient Romans do what the contemporary Italians can not?
