“Great place for us, just what we were looking for. Nice place to lay our heads and get cleaned up after hiking on the blue ridge parkway. Clean, comfortable, and Ken and Patti were great hosts. Will be back.”

“This lovely chalet fit our needs perfectly. We were visiting relatives that live in nearby Cummings cove and wanted a place that would be convenient. The location is very peaceful yet only a few minute drive to groceries and some really good restaurants. We spent nearly every evening sipping cocktails on the deck watching the wildlife. 1/2 hr drive gets you to pretty much all the major attractions including stunning waterfalls and mountain vistas. Home is super comfortable with excellent beds....

“I go with my grandson and daughter every year to tube, hike and see waterfalls. We have rented other properties and stayed in hotels and never been satisfied. Until now! Everything was really perfect from the minute we walked into a pleasant smelling house to the comfy beds and oh yes the hot tub! A 10 out of 10!”

“The property was very nice, and as described. Communication and assistance was quick when needed. It was a quick drive to downtown, the arts district, or waterfall hikes. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.”

“The informational packet provided by the hosts was extremely helpful and very thorough, and even provided recommendations for places to visit. We only had one minor issue during our stay which we were able to communicate to the hosts to resolve. The kitchen in the cabin had anything we could possibly need and we were able to easily cook multiple meals after visiting the nearby Ingles. Overall it was a great stay and we would recommend this location to anyone looking for somewhere central to stay...

“We loved the location just minutes to downtown and 240 but also in the woods. We have a bear visit on our last morning, which was very exciting for our pups. One of them loved sleeping on his bed on the screen porch just outside the bedroom. We enjoy traveling with them and they enjoyed the accommodations, especially the doggie treats. ”
