The hotel was just grungy and the pool was extremely cloudy. The breakfast was little to nothing that was being offered. Extremely disappointed! Don't even get me started on the tv channels that were available. Basic cable only and no movie channels whatsoever!
The King room was nasty. It smelled like urine and smoke when we first opened the door. The bathroom was even worse…black mold around the inside of the bathtub. The shower-head wasn’t even connected and we couldn’t take a bath because it couldn’t hold water. The ceiling tiles were falling down. The ac/heater was so loud you couldn’t sleep. Never again!
Rooms smelt moldy there was no air filtration. Staff was very nice only thing I can not complain about. We didnt have TV dor 2 nights becuase you have to hook ot up threw your phone but was told by staff they dont know how. Alarm clock (didnt work just blinked) and service phone from 80s and dirty. Showers we tight small low ceilings didnt even bother to shower was grossed out. House keeping came to make bed threw thin comforter they offer over my wrinked up sheet. There were holes in fitted sheet in one of the beds and drawings on a comforter. We spent 2 nights there and I stayed away untill late and got up early was very disappointed
I stayed at a hotel that night because of an urgent situation. I chose the Ramada Inn because it was Ramada Inn. In the town I was in the choices were limited, but I went with mid-priced and a name I knew. The place was absolutely filthy. In a different situation, I would have walked out and slept in my vehicle. I don't have much time here so I'll point out the worst things. There was crumbs of food on the hall carpet, like a trail leading to the room. But worse than that, when I got up to use the restroom in the night I saw a q-tip on the bathroom floor. It wasn't a white q-tip that blended into the floor color either. It was very boldly and clearly-there a blue q-tip. This was all I could think about the rest of the night and it's still very clearly in my mind. I wish I'd taken a picture, but it was just so disgusting.
I stayed in the hotel that night because my husband had back surgery that day and I did not want to go home and be an hour from him, not to mention how exhausted I was and the drive home wouldn't have been safe.
I didn't report it to management because there was housekeeping in the hallway when I left--everything I saw was clearly visible and obviously no one cared.
The whole property was extremely filthy. The black mold in the bathroom was everywhere. There was dirt in every corner and the “leather” chair was so worn out that the stuffing was coming out of it.
