Close to Google

Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Noisy AC needs to be fixed or changed.
Location: Near Google. In-N-Out Burger across street.
We stayed here to go to an appointment at Google. The room was fine for the price. The air conditioner was tremendously noisy, which did not make for a good night's sleep. Other than that, the room was nice enough and clean. The breakfast was good. It's a good hotel for the price.

Clean, modest hotel. OK sufficient breakfast but not great. Nice staff. Reasonable value for room cost.

Easy stay, nice location

Posted Jun 27, 2017
It's not luxury, but clean and adequate. With crazy prices in the area this is a solid option. As a business traveler I appreciated the location, very walkable to downtown Mountain View. Also right across the street is a great gym with day rate and a Walgreens. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. I would stay again.

Location: It's located relatively close (~25 min. walk) to the Mountain View Caltrain station and also the downtown.
The upgrade i got was a "better" room. Overall, it was slightly worse than an average room in an average hotel. There was a big glass door with a tiny balcony, but there were only fabric, semitransparent curtains in the room and no opaque curtains at all. Also, there was no window, which could be opened. Another negative thing is the lighting in the room was pretty dark, especially in the bathroom. The WiFi was fine.

Nice hotel close to the Bay Area

Posted Jun 3, 2017
Pros: Reception staff, price, location, breakfast included. Comfortable.
Cons: I was very pleased on the whole.
Location: 15 minutes to Stanford Hospital. Bay Area so San Francisco is north with all of the touristy things to do there.
The Vue is on a busy street in Mountain View. Typically hotels around the Bay Area are very expensive; the Vue was much less than others around it. It looks like the Vue was carefully re-modelled around an old footprint; they've done it very well. We were greeted warmly by reception staff, quickly checked in, upgraded to "superior" queen, and given free waters (ever had to pay $2.50 for a bottle of water at a hotel?)... very much appreciated late at night. The room was large and comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Free breakfast, good parking and wifi; the breakfast was just fine with hot eggs, sausage, and the usual cereals, breads and fruits. I recommend the Vue (we were there for a Stanford doctor's appointment) as a good choice close to the hospital.

North Pole?!

Posted Jun 3, 2017
ugh! Freezing, the air conditioner would not shut off, it was very cold in the room. I would not normally complain I would grin and bear it! I got up with a scratchy throat, headache, just Achy all over. Ironic since i was here to go the doctors! This was a trip i was thrilled to be done with!

Bed Bugs.....Do not stay here.....

Posted May 31, 2017
Checked in on 5/27/17, was supposed to be for 2 nights, well ended up checking out the next morning due to our room having bed bugs and my girlfriend being bitten during the night, being woken up abruptly at 1am to my my girlfriend telling me she was being bitten. Go downstairs to the hotel desk to address the situation, nothing could be done, so we spent the rest of the night in our car. The next morning we addressed the situation again and they said they could not move us into another room until after 12pm, but I was not willing to stay there another night. they couldn't cancel our reservation because we booked through Expedia, so I had to call Expedia and talk to them, then they had to call the hotel, they ended up cancelling our 2nd night and refunded me the charge. But however they would not issue me a full refund for the 1st night. Which is complete Bull. Although the hotel was nice and comfy, they bed bug issue is a deal breaker and I will never recommend this hotel to anyone nor will I ever consider staying here again.

Dear TJ, We appreciate your feedback on the unfortunate, and very rare instance that you experienced at our hotel. Our team takes this situation very seriously, and I apologize that we were unable to change your room immediately. I had advised my staff to refund you for your entire stay and I apologize if they misunderstood. I will be contacting Expedia today to make sure you receive your refund for the first nights stay as well. As you hopefully are aware, bedbugs are not a reflection of the cleanliness of a hotel. Our hotel is frequently praised for our cleanliness and attention to detail by our housekeeping department. If you are interested in discussing this further, please contact me directly. Sincerely, Janice P
