Excellent service. Very quiet and comfortablePosted Sep 1, 2017
Staff was wonderful upon check in. Free gondola rides to town are a great way to travel- we never once used the car. Kids loves the pool - very warm. Great place for families- only wish we had stayed here longer!!

Mountain paradisePosted Aug 17, 2017
For a couple who usually stays in 'Bates Motels' we treated ourselves to a fancy resort and boy this place was so amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly which alone is comforting. We had the tiny room and even that was stellar for being 'tiny' and fit all our stuff and we had a lot of stuff. Our window faced the creek that runs through the property so the sound at night was soothing. We even rode a mountain bike trail from the top that ended right at this hotel. Hot tub was perfect for after riding. 10/10 would stay again and again.

they don't know how to manage a hotelPosted Jul 26, 2017
Cons: A lot. See above.
Overall, it feels like the management doesn't know how to run a hotel. There were no towels available at the pool or in the locker room. I'm not picky about coffee, but it was so bad as to be undrinkable. They charge you $20/day to valet park, and there is nowhere else to park. It took over 30 minutes for them to retrieve my car, and then when I complained to the Valet that the service was bad, he started arguing with me (and he wouldn't stop arguing). He gave lots of excuses for why it took so long to get the car, which all boil down to either (a) this is Telluride, that's how it goes and (b) the other staff aren't here to help. What he doesn't seem to realize is that as a guest, I don't really care why the service is bad, I just care if it is bad. I would find another place to stay in Telluride.

Fabulous StayPosted Jul 21, 2017
This is my second time staying at Mountain Lodge, the first being this past winter. Both times have been fantastic. We stayed in the 1 bedroom and it was perfect size for my sister, her two kids and me. Nice king size bed, fully stocked kitchen and a fireplace between the living room and bedroom which made for a perfect night's sleep. We enjoyed the pool every day and enjoyed food and cocktails in the restaurant. The prices were affordable and not ridiculous like some of the hotels in the Village. Lastly, the staff were as usual very friendly, accommodating and easy-going. I can't wait to go back!

Pros: Newer place, very friendly staff, dog friendly, nice development.
Cons: Only issue was the size of the room//bed. IT's a short queen mattress (74' long) which barely fits in the room. Over 6', book elsewhere!
Location: in Mountain Village development. Lots of hiking trails, mountain bike trails, etc. Town center of Telluride is 3 mile walk, along nice trail.
Stayed here in summer 2017 for 4 days. Overall, very pleasant experience.

Highly RecommendPosted Jul 10, 2017
Cons: Had to call twice to get caffeinated coffee. The change machine for laundry was out of change. I had to walk to the front desk to get change.
Great room! Beautiful location. Loved being so close to the gondola.

Overnight stayPosted Jun 26, 2017
On our return from Moab we booked an overnight stay in a junior Suit. Hotel reception staff were very pleasant and we were checked in speedily, room was a nice size with all the equipment and facilities you would require if staying for a week. On entering the room we found that the Bin not emptied, the leather bed sofa was uncomfortable to sit on, cushions worn and require replacement foam cushion filling. Fabric chair had dirty worn arms and smelt of dog. Apart from this the hotel ticked all the boxes.
