Meh, nice place to stay but didn't match the price
We have been staying at the Grand Lodge for a while. It's a great place to stay at Government Camp but for the price, it needs to be luxury and quality wasn't quite there. Sheets on the master bedroom were oddly rough and wifi didn't really work so we had to do radical things like talk to each other and read books. Kitchen is well stocked, bedrooms are roomy and we enjoyed our stay but the price/value isn't quite there anymore. Vacasa check in and communication was great and I like the self-check in. Just tone all the email and promos that you send. I don't need 3 reminders of my trip. I know when I am going on vacation.

Great location, large condo, covered heated parking, dark, could be better stocked
We loved the location, size and covered heated parking at this condo. It was darker than the photos show and it could really use better stocking (there weren’t any extra garbage bags and for a place that sleeps 8 needed more dishes) Loved the sledding hill, snowshoeing trail, and proximity to skiing! We had a great time overall.

Nice, clean, roomy place, but not much light.
Pros - Overall, this place was very nice and clean with lots of room and in a great location. (We could walk to town.) There was a great view of Mt. Hood from the balcony! The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were large and nice too! Cons - This condo is much darker on the inside than what you see in the photos as there are only a few windows so you don't get much light. I was disappointed on how little light there was. Also, the areas outside/around the condo could have used a good cleaning. The garbage and recycle bins (which were in the parking garage) were stinky and overflowing, but I assume this was because it wasn't garbage day yet. Eventually the garbage was taken away. The place definitely had a rental feel to it and felt more like a hotel room than a place of residence. I would still recommend this place as it was fairly new, great location, really clean and had a plenty of room!

Lots of space
This is a very large three-bedroom condo with plenty of space to spread out. It would very easily sleep 6-8 people with plenty of beds and seats in the dining area. The kitchen is well-appointed and super clean. We found the mattress in the master to be very hard, but we find that to be true everywhere we go since we have a very soft bed at home. :) Due to COVID protocols, the pool and sauna were closed, but we could make a 30-minute appointment to use the hot tub each day of our stay, which was perfect. The proximity to skiing and sledding was very convenient. All-in-all, we found this to be a perfect space for our family of four (two very tall teenage boys included) to celebrate a little bit of Spring Break.
