“We like staying at small places away from the city center and this place sure fit that bill! The large stone Inn stands out as you drive into the village, making it easy to find. The room was fresh and new, and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was really nice with a rain shower and spacious. The restaurant was quiet, picturesque, and the food was good. We really enjoyed the staff as they were young and tried hard to please.”

“Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. Little did we know that the hotel was largely booked out by a huge wedding party, to even get to reception required us to gatecrash through their “private” BBQ held on the lawn in front of hotel. “We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this……

“This is a wonderful B&B, with amazing views. Our room was spacious and comfortable; Des and Susan were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Great choices for breakfast, freshly cooked Irish breakfast and lovely porridge too. Plenty of local fresh fruit and honey. Good location for Waterford. Would highly recommend Samuels Heritage B&B.”

“It was good for the price. But to check in you have to call a number and wait. It doesn’t tell you that and the number is on the door so you can’t call early. Simeon from another location comes to let you in. Breakfast is do it yourself continental, not amazing. We are at The Pantry just a few places down, amazing. The lady that checked us in was nice. Room was small but worked. Bed slanted towards head so needed up sleeping opposite direction.”

“My most favorite stay in Ireland! From the moment you arrive it’s service service service. The staff are so accommodating and so service focused. The place is immaculate. It’s adorable and you feel like you walked onto a movie set. The room was super comfortable & spacious with everything that I needed. Great bed & very quiet. I highly recommend this property.
