CAN'T GET WORSE THAN THIS PLACE!

This hotel was horrible. This is not a 3 star hotel, a 1 star at best. Upon arriving at the hotel in realized the photos don't actually depict the hotel accurately. CHECK IN - We checked in and I asked for the wifi password when I was told it's not free, I showed them their online posting that has wifi included and their response was "yes it's included but you have to pay. ROOM -The room was not very clean, stained bedsheets grossed me out. The washroom was a whole other thing. The shower would go from warm to seething hot and burn you and a second later it would be freezing cold. There was no consistency with the water in the shower. The taps and tub were disgustingly stained so much so that I wore my flip flops into the tub cause I didn't want to touch the tub. AC - the AC didn't work so we were left with a fan that would work inconsistently in the sweltering Bombay heat. STAFF - The staff were rude and had no customer service training. When we went to check out they were so rude and wouldn't call us a cab but said go flag one down outside. They obviously are lacking knowledge about what customer service is. Overall I couldn't find one positive thing to say about this hotel. It has been the worst hotel experience of my life. I would never come back here and warn people to think twice before staying here.

Had a very lovely time especially walking on the beach in the mornings before breakfast, as it is in a very close visinity. Breakfast servings and service was fabulous with ample of food to have. Enough that you don't need to have Lunch. Only thing I feel I was let down is there was no tea or coffee in the room. Rest was fine and room was very comfortable and clean. Good service.

Still a nice place to stay

Very nice hotel. Staff is friendly but not very attentive. Location is great and food is average but just right to start the day. I think the hotel needs a little "shot in the arm" and everyone would give it a little higher marks.

Where to start. We arrived at 2:05 a.m. on January 22nd, 2015. After leaving a request for an early morning check-in and receiving a confirmation that this was okay, we were charged an extra $73.00 (which the night manager assured was half off the going rate for a room). Staff here were very abrupt and came off as a bit rude at us even asking a simple questions such as if they had a tourist map. The room staff were very friendly- although over the top and waited for a tip after providing no service, I mean we know how to turn on a light and operate a t.v. Chances are the driver will not have a clue where this hotel is. Print out a google map with directions before you arrive at the airport. Contrary to what was available for room options on hotels.com (no breakfast include, break included, all inclusive). Just choose the cheapest option as all rooms seem to be the same quality, wifi was not included (only after negotiation) and you can only use it in the lobby. All inclusive, means breakfast included so by choosing a more expensive options, you get extra service and amenities. It may be close to a beach, but its nothing to brag about, and people were genuinely unfriendly. If this authentic India, then maybe its not the best spot to be. Positives would have to be the food. The dinner and breakfast selection are buffet style (males omelette, bread, fruit- all you need really). We give it a 2.5/5 but definitely would not stay here again.

The Best of Stays !

Pros: Everything ...but most of all the staff !
Cons: Nothing needs improve ment
Location: Extremely well located by Juhu Beach, the Isckon Temple and the Prithvi Temple
The Ajanta Hotel is well located and very attractive.. We loved the food.....Best of all was the wonderful staff!

Wonderful Place to Stay !

Location: What can I say??....There in nearby Juhu Beach and all of Mumbai!
My family cannot praise the facility ,the location, the food and the staff enough! Missing the Ajunta already !

Средний опрятный отель. Обслуживание не очень понравилось. Завтраки скудные, но вкусные. Расположение отеля хорошее, вид из окна замечательный. Персонал внимательный. Не понравилось что нет Wi-Fi в номере. И на лобио желательно поставить компьютер. В общем на 3-4 дня можно остановится.

Ajanta hotel; Good location for beach and shopping

The hotel is clean and is in good location for the Juhu beach and surrounding shopping areas. The reception staff were good but didn't know much about entertainment around the vicinity. Breakfast average and the waiters there had no clue about service !! Overall a little bit expensive compared to similar hotels nearby, we have stayed in the past.
