Location of the hotel is very poor

Posted Jan 17, 2017
Hotel staff is non co-operative. Hotel rooms are of two star category. For few food items, timings are till 11:00 pm night. I ordered exactly at 11:00 pm and Hotel staff denied to serve that since it was 11:00 pm.

Horrible hotel !

Posted Jan 15, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel is rundown and a horror of sorts . First the musty government building smell which pervades all through the property . The room service was curt and rude , they keema pao I ordered has one very small pao ( for over 600 rupees that I paid for it ) so when I asked for a bread basket was given a pair of toasted bread and butter and charged 150 bucks more ! Really ! Finally sleeping is a challenge because the master control has a blue light led which is so bright that it could be used a a beacon on a foggy day . So I struggled to sleep ! And finally waking up groggy I thought a shower should wake me up but unfortunately only the hand shower worked . The breakfast was unremarkable but then what could I expect !

Incompetent staff and unnecessary hassles

Posted Nov 30, 2016 on Hotels
This was the worst hotel I ever had to deal with (having stayed in more than a hundred hotels around the world). Although we had a pre-paid hotels.com reservation, the hotel could not find it and we had to wait for half-an-hour while they sorted it out. When the second guest was added, the same wait was repeated. The hotel charged the full amount instead of doing a pre-auth for incidental expanses. When we checked out, they promised to reverse the charges. An hour after checking out, they had the temerity to call us and claim that we left without payment. Later we found out that the charge was not reversed.

Below Average Stay. Not value for money

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Location: Pathetic location. In the midst of a slum. Nothing to do near by
The room is very small for a 4 star standards. The bathroom is so small and compact that 1 person can barely stand and take shower at a time. I certainly expect a brand like Ramada to not be so stingy with space. The items on the menu at their day restaurant is so limited that you just don't feel like eating there. I had ordered chicken tikka masala for lunch, and guess what it was more like normal chicken curry than chicken tikka. Dunno how come the chef at Ramada not know how to prepare chicken tikka. Even at a dhabba they know how to prepare chicken tikka. The drinks available at all their restaurants vary. They have Breezer blackberry at the Skky Lounge but not at their other restaurants!!! Strange, same hotel but one restaurant does not serve the drinks served at their restaurant next door. I also ordered Blenders Pride Whiskey, but they sent something else!! Can you believe this is the level of service at a 4 star??? Rooms are clean, but they did not change the linen the next day, which is disappointing!

The property is located to a flowing sewer stream, at a seemingly down market area.

Dear Guest, We sincerely appreciate your valuable time for writing feedback about your stay. Ramada Powai Mumbai is located close to both International and Domestic airport terminal and close to all Business parks and exhibition center thus it is preferred by many travelers. 10 mins away from Hiranandani Galleria and there is a big local market just outside the hotel. The location of the hotel is good if you like peace and quiet and natural surroundings - quite rare for Mumbai.Just to keep you updated the sewer mentioned by you is a Mithi River coming from the Vihar Lake. We do hope to see you again. With every good wish Thank you, With warm regards, Nitin Saigal Front Office Manager

Don't do it!

Posted Jul 29, 2016
The management asked to pay 1500 more because my fiance came to visit me after work late night. All facilities, gym, library everything closes at 11pm, this is a hostel, not a hotel. The swimming pool does not exist and is in the convention center next door, but is advertised as of its part of the hotel. The view from the room was just slums. And imagine I paid for a room with a view. What a view indeed! There is no tub in the room. This is just a sleeping pad.
