Breakfast and Rooftop Pool

Pros: Breakfasts and Swimming Pool
Cons: Staff attitudes, Room cleanliness, room supplies. Change the guest rooms with no view to the gym!
Location: Remote end and 5 min walk to Juhu Beach. Quiet and clean except for the Pop-Up weddings around us.
Had high expectations for this hotel. Our last 4 days in Mumbai after the Golden Triangle and flying home. Strangely a name change in the last month and no-one seemed to know where it was. Room: Horrible, on 2nd floor with canopy over dining room, so nothing to see but bare boards. Requested the room to be cleaned TWICE before we commenced our stay. Nice to have a washing machine and fridge but poorly supplied, having to request cups and glasses. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, good staff and food. Rooftop swimming pool was a winner. Would not recommend as not easy to find, and EXPENSIVE compared to other hotels with better services and rooms. Had expected much much more, given had stayed at the older hotels on Juhu beach before.

Meh, not terrible. Not worth the price though.

It was ok. Moved to a nicer place after a few days, and for cheaper. Had to request fresh linens on first day. Not clean. Shower was cold. They only gave me one towel. No iron in room, had to request it. Then had to send it back because it shocked me. Not terrible, just a general lack of attention to detail. Needs upkeep.

9 pound a night for wifi is to high in your room free only in lobby had to come down to lobby to use not good

was a relaxing stay. everything was neatly organised, no fusses during check in and neither check out. cab was arranged on time for the airport drop.

Excellent hotel - just one downside

If you have to be in Juhu this is the hotel to reserve. Large room with efficient and aesthetic design for comfort and efficiency. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. also kitchen amenities such as fridge, kettle, micro, tableware & even washing machine. Rooftop pool to bring a smile to a swimmer's face (20 meters long). Only one shortcoming - internet was terribly slow & available only in lobby. I complained to management & hopefully this is being corrected.

Pros: Over all good
Cons: Please chuck reception staff and hire new people okay I don't wanna make anybody jobless but ask them to greet people and let them be more welcoming
To the point .. Reception stuff are think they own the place and they are not warm and welcoming and don't know to talk or greet really wonder how u people got the job you people are just ruining the Oakwood's name Overall other room service staff the security and others are good at greeting people but people who are at reception area are worst

Pleasant residence feel.

The Oakwood is a secured residence that you are being allowed to use as a hotel. The residents obviously expect excellent service and the chefs are good. Do not be influenced by the closeness to the beach on a map. That stretch is awful. However, the roof top pool is wonderful, and you can see the sea from there, over palm trees. It is quite a walk to other activity as well. You are there for the well managed private enclave.

An Oasis of Calm

In the popular Juhu area of Mumbai; the Oakwood Premier was a comfortable; quiet and clean oasis away from the noisy jam packed streets of a mega-city. The hotel staff from reception to housekeeping and dining room were responsive to every request with a greeting and a smile. Having a kitchenette with a washer and dryer was a real convenience on a week long stay. Being within walking distance of Juhu Beach and the ISKCON Temple means there are always taxis or rickshaws available for transportation right outside the security guarded gate of the hotel. I would recommend the Oakwood to anyone visiting Mumbai who doesn't have to be in the sardine like packed heart of the city.
