Ok

I booked 2 nights which were put in the computer as 2 seperate nights. I spoke with staff who finally told me I could leave luggage, food in fridge,etc. My luggage was removed. My food was thrown away. My toiletries are gone. Frustrating.

Maintenance - where are you?

Pros: It was quiet!
Cons: MAINTENANCE!!! That is all it takes is diligent maintenance.
Location: I was there for an event so I didn't really explore anything else.
Very bad experience. The main issue was the room door rubbed so hard on the rug you had to force it open and force it closed. I informed them when I checked it but it was never repaired during my stay. The electricity and internet went down and the internet took 24 hours to come back. The exercise room had no TV or radio and the bike kept skipping; almost fell of twice trying to use it. And those ridiculously small pillows....whose idea was that?

I'm very sorry you had problems with your door during your visit. Just curious what room you were in? I'm sorry that the power went out during your stay as well and not too sure about the fitness room television. We've had a TV in our fitness room since the day we opened. Again I'm sorry that some of these things happened during your stay and hope we can earn your business again in the future. Thank you.

Throughout the night you can hear footsteps above you. Not a great nights sleep.

Ball State orientation

Pros: Very close to a Ball state!
Cons: New carpet in the room 208!
Location: We spent most of are visit at orientation, just a couple of miles from Ball State. Lots of choice for dinner.
The beds were very comfortable, bath room was clean, it definitely need new carpet had some holes and schredding? Front deck was very helpful.

Book Now for Filthy Mattresses and Bonus Bed Bugs

This hotel shares a parking lot with a mattress store, which we found sadly ironic after our children spent a night on a sofa bed mattress with very obvious red-brown, human bodily fluid stains. Our attempt to move to another room was met with a "sold out" status, though while we were at the front desk awaiting a solution, a reservation was accepted for two more rooms. Soon, a rollaway bed was delivered to our room. It was far more badly stained than the sofabed. A great portion of the surface was stained, again a reddish-brown. One of our children joked that clearly someone had been killed or at the very least maimed on this mattress, and we wheeled it into the hallway. Now a month later, our otherwise clean, happy home has bed bugs. There is no doubt they traveled with us from that awful hotel.

Not the worst but certainly not the best

I've stayed with Comfort Inn hotels many times in the past and have always been pleased. We arrived at about 3 AM and we waited probably a good 5-10 minutes before the front desk staff came to the desk. When he arrived, he smelled of marijuana and in a rushed and hateful tone told me "our computers are down and I can't do anything right now". He tore a piece of paper in half and told me initial and sign. He tossed a couple of room keys on the desk and that was it. I picked up the keys and asked him "could you tell me what room I'm going to?" He then have me the room number then promptly walked away. At this point I didn't even care because I was exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. There were other small things that were just annoying but would not necessarily stop me from staying at another Comfort Inn but I just thought this guy was rediculous!

Work Trip

Pros: Everyone was very friendly and helpful - even when I ran late to breakfast they still helped me get something and were there to assist.
Cons: Cosmetic things - but I understand that renovations are always on going.
Location: The Muncie Mall or the Muncie YMCA!
I needed to go to Indiana on a quick trip and found this hotel at a great rate in a central location.

Non-Smoking Room - NOT.

Everything was great, except for the fact that the room was supposed to be non-smoking, but reek of cigarette smoke when we walked in the room. Thankfully, I brought air freshener, which helped.

Very nice motel close to Ball State

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was a good size, very clean, quiet, the breakfast was great, and the employees were pleasant and helpful.
