The food is inedible. We paid over $300 per/night; at that price, it ought to be top-notch--or the hotel should charge reasonable prices for accommodations.

The two queen room says it sleeps 5 (and we booked with 5 of us individually listed) but when we checked in there was not a reasonable way for 5 of us to sleep in there. The front desk staff said they couldn't put a rollaway in the room because it was a fire hazard. We didn't bring a blow up mattress, and there was no couch. I asked how they expected 5 people to sleep in the room and there was no real answer...I guess 3 people in a Queen size bed is their plan...Or maybe someone just sleeping on the floor? We ultimately had to check out about an hour after we checked in, were on the hook for the full payment, and had to drive back home to Kentucky. A disappointing situation.

Dear Guest,I am so sorry to hear about your experience at our property. 5 is noted on our Queen/Queen rooms as that is the maximum capacity for the space. Our description for the room though is 2 Queen/Queen beds. I apologize if this was misleading. We hope you choose to give our property another chance in the future.

The sausage graby had a hair in it. I was the 3rd person to breakfast. The hair belonged to the kitchen staff. They dumped it immediately.

Excellent
Place was great all the staff was so friendly we flew in from Florida for my mom funeral so we had 14 family members. The hotel gave all of us a sorry for your lost card it was very nice of them. The rooms was great clean. Breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Perfect for our needs
It was just a quick overnight stay. We were in town to attend a college preview day at Ball State University. Very conveniently located. Very clean, very friendly staff, good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Property was much improved from my last stay. I was surprised that my coffee supply was not replenished on my second day. Not enough, though, that I did not request more from the desk, which I am sure I could have.

When I walked up to the front desk and gave my name, I was told rather abruptly that they didn’t have a reservation for me. I double checked my reservation and let her know that I had made it through Expedia. It was still told there was no reservation for me. I then asked her to check the confirmation number and was told it probably wouldn’t be under that. Luckily she did find my reservation with the number. No apology or acknowledgment of her error.

Newly Renovated!
We have previously stayed at the Hampton Inn several years ago and were unhappy with it as the interior was very dated and worn. It made for only a mediocre stay. We decided to stay again recently. The place is newly renovated making it much better. Our room was spacious and comfortable. My only complaint was with the shower—the handle on the shower door stuck out so far inside the shower that it made the shower quite narrow. Breakfast was mediocre, but you don’t get gourmet for free. Otherwise, we were happy with our stay and will likely return to this hotel.

Worst room possible. Next to an outside door that was slammed continuously and so loudly I could feel it. Construction on the door right across the hall at 10:00 pm. Unbelievable

The staff was amazing. Very nice and welcoming. Room was clean and hotel was quiet and relaxing. Only draw back was the area seems older and need of repairs on otherbusinesses around and there is clearly construction happening to this property so not any fault just wasnt as appealing outside as inside. I am sure once construction is complete the outside feel will match the inside. Over all we had a great experience.

They are remodeling and it’s a mess. Then they charged me for the room after I already paid for it through Expedia. Pretty sure I won’t see that money again. Just very upset with the whole thing.

Poor comfort
Worst Hampton Inn. Staff was was fine. The bed was awful. That’s the main reason why I choose Hampton is for their comfort and it was not there.

I was double billed for my stay and was not refunded until a later date Was also locked out of the hotel when we arrived late due to a flat tire...was outside the lobby for 10 min until someone came to let us in

This property was under maintenance and construction, but it was not disturbing to our stay. What was is the room we were given, which shouldn’t be given to anyone in its state. We killed several ants in one of our beds, the pipe would pull out of the wall about 6 inches whenever you would turn on the shower, the tub would not drain and fill it with water. When you showered, there was mold and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, bathroom door will not stay open in would slowly come back open and hit you if you stood in front of the mirror for any amount of time, you could not shut the shower curtain, as the rod was falling out of the wall on both sides as well. We did not complain, as we were only there to sleep, but let the staff know upon check out about the situation. They wanted to discount or comp us for our stay due to the issues, but we’re told “nothing that we can do since you booked through a third-party“. We will definitely keep this in mind for future bookings
