8th time staying that the Ambiance Rivoli. Super easy access to U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Bakery, supermarket and gas station all nearby. Quiet neighborhood. Clean facility and friendly staff. Full and tasty breakfast.

This hotel has fantastic transport connections to explore the wonderful city of Munich not sure it’s 4 star but a good clean & friendly place & helpful staff .

We enjoyed our stay! The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We got there around 10:30 pm the reception closed at 9 but there was a number to call at the desk. We called and staff member came right away and help us! We accidentally booked for 2 twin beds instead of a queen and even at 10/11 pm at night he was still able to accommodate us by letting us switch rooms and helping us to park our car. We have an American made car which can be hard to park in European garages sometimes so we were so grateful for his help. Lots of amenities were unavailable due to covid including minibar, spa, hotel restaurant dine-in, & hygiene items but we still enjoyed our stay. Rooms were nice and clean & look like the online pictures. I wish I would have known about the unavailable amenities but now if was

Great stay at Ambiance Rivoli,Munich
I had a brief stay at Ambiance Rivoli which was very nice.Excellent service from Staff.They did their best to give me an early check-in ,as I needed to go to the ISPO show. Due to unforeseen circumstances,I had to leave a day early and my last night was non-refundable.They kindly did not charge me for the breakfasts I had before,as their contribution to that.They did not have to do that and I am very grateful for that.Only point I would raise is to suggest they provide some coffee/tea facilities in the room.This is common with all 4-star hotels.

This stay is highly upsetting considering this is my newlywed husband and mines honeymoon. I surly hope you’ll make it up to us in some way. I had to run downstairs a few times to the reception to get stuff that were missing in the room as the guy in the reception was alone and could not bring it to me. Even a wine bottle opener- I was asked by the bartender to bring in down to him as he has only 1 and could also not sent it over to my not so great room to begin with. All in all, a horrible and terrible experience. Not at all what I had expected from your comp which I’ve enjoyed booking with many times before. Very disappointing!

This was in a great location to the Harras subway 2 min walk, but other than that nothing else around but a park 15 minute walk.

Parking possible on street outside in night. Have to remove car by 7.00. There are two hotels from same group close to each other. One is 4 star. Breakfast was good.

Reasonable hotel
Hotel is starting to look dated but was a comfortable stay. Not real value for money but it was a week where a trade show was on so prices were inflated. Breakfast was a disappointment and the manager of the restaurant made the experience uncomfortable as he ran around.

Pleasant hotel - clean - very comfortable bed - close to Harras station ( takes probably just under an hour from the airport by train - a group ticket for 3 cost approx €25 and lasted all day - by Uber back to the airport was €65 ) - walking distance from a few cafes and a McDonalds and not too far walk to the Oktoberfest grounds. We walked in everyday ( 3 days ) - only small gripe was that the coffee machine in the room had no supply of coffee pods and milk ! But we had a pleasant st

One block from the train in quiet neighborhood. Would want better Wi-Fi, codes would stop working. Garage door for underground parking was not working properly on entering lot. No Sunday dinner or bar service. Coffee and tea in the lobby stopped in the early afternoon. Would have liked a second pillow. Bed was very comfortable.

Located in Harras, almost next door to the train station. Hotel was nice and clean.AC worked very well. For the price, it's totally worth it. If you stay in a hotel of the same level but closer to city center, it would be at least 30% more.

Great location and good value for the price.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. English is spoken. Location is 5 minute walk to Harras train station, Underground, Tram and Bus. We bought a 3 day pass to all public transit. Was very easy to get around. Marienplatz ( main tourist area / shopping/ restaurants etc.) is less than 10 mins. by underground. We would stay here again.

Loved Munich, this hotel is a nice hotel for those who are on a budget, it’s near the subway station and is super easy to move around the town form there, a one minute walk from the hotel to the subway.

Excellent value, great location!
This hotel was a pleasant surprise, modern & big by European standards. The rooms were equipped with electric blinds, mini fridge, safe, lots of outlets to charge electronics, and the bathroom was equipped as well-bidet, hairdryer, shampoo, shampoo/body wash packets, body lotion, 2 bar soaps. Wifi was adequate and we had no problems with connectivity. The decor in the room & lobby was beautiful & modern, black granite countertops on furniture & in bathroom. Everything worked well, we blew a breaker somehow overnight & when we called it in, it took less than a minute to resolve (wow!). Staff was very efficient at everything including check in & check out. They also were multilingual, their English was excellent. Location is very convenient less than a block from Harras station so you can get everywhere in the city quickly. Neighborhood is very quiet, like most of Munich it shuts down early around 10 pm-be prepared if you're a late arrival, nothing is open for food-get vending machine snacks at Harras station (McDs is under construction right now as of August 2017). The only thing that might be improved is the plastic feel to the mattresses, the sheets easily slip off and I found myself sleeping directly on the mattress one night. Overall, this was a great choice and I would definitely stay here again!

Pros and Cons, not sure it's 4 star
Pros: friendly staff, rooms clean, located right by Harras station with U & S bahn to the city centre, Lidl supermarket nearby, room size ok. Cons: Aircon isn't very good, beds quite hard, no tea/coffee making facilities in room, no soundproofing on bathroom door, poor selection of tv channels. On returning to our room on the fifth day of our stay, we found the cleaners had left our door wide open, the card in the power slot and my sheets had been changed to ones full of holes! Not sure how long it had been like it but anyone could have gone into our room and taken something, thankfully all valuable stuff was in the safe! Overall, hotel was ok for a short stay but lacked some attention to detail and added extras that I would expect a 4 star hotel to have. I would rate this more 3 star.
