Great hotelPosted Oct 4, 2015
Spent two weeks there and had a great time. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast every morning was really good too. We enjoy walking everywhere on vacation so this hotel was at a good location for us. It was about a 30 minute walk to Oktoberfest which was convenient and under an hour walk to the city center. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Pros: The free breakfast and internet were wonderful, but the unexpectedly free minibar cemented this hotel as my recommended hotel for Munich.
I stayed here when visiting for Oktoberfest 2015. The hotel was close to the grounds, without being overrun with drunks or noise. I highly recommend staying here. I had a wonderful experience, made even better by the helpful and friendly staff.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in.Posted Sep 13, 2015
A fantastic hotel close to a local train station . The reception staff were so welcoming on arrival and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was great, a very comfortable bed and a lovely walk-in shower. It is a large hotel and was busy and breakfast time seemed a bit hectic. However I never had a problem finding a table. The actual breakfast buffet was huge and the variety of food on offer was immense. The bar was nice too and very relaxing after a long day discovering Munich. In fact, I would say it was one of the best hotel stays I've ever had anywhere.

Can not fault this hotel!Posted Sep 9, 2015
Absolutely enjoyed our 3 night stay in a Junior Suite. The staff were wonderful, the room was big, clean and very comfortable and the location was great. Yes you do need to take a train into the main parts of the City but it was a quick trip and trains run very regularly. Breakfast was tasty with a lot of variety and we also ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it was delicious. The meal sizes were huge and the price very reasonable. We also had free access to a mini bar which is provided under the junior suite package and they also provide a $5 meal or drink Voucher per day of our stay. Wi fi worked very well too. Overall a great experience.

Very good hotel, NOT so close to city core.Posted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: Cool and modern design, great breakfast, very clean, helpful staff.
Cons: Wifi quality (stayed in room 149 - quality was so-so). Lack of English TV channels.
Location: Far from center, about a 7 minute walk to metro station, and then a 10 minute ride to center. Next to supermarket, nothing more. Residential area
New and impressive hotel, although its a bit far from the city core. Room was more than adequate, very clean and good size. No bathtub, only shower. Very good breakfast, lots of choice and high quality products, although sweet pastries were absent (danishes, etc). The tiny 100ml glasses were weird, had to make extra trips to the juice table to get more. All in all, we were very content with what we got and had a pleasant time.

Fabulous!Posted Sep 1, 2015
Our first time in Munich ,we're so impressed with the place. From the moment we sat foot into the hotel foyer we were greeted with a smile by the staff at the reception; was even more delighted and surprised that at such early arrival from England (11am) we were accommodated right away. The interior of the hotel is very modern, new, and surroundings are clean. Staff very polite, friendly, helpful, and I would like to mention Susana one of the breakfast staff for giving me information about german sausages and what sauces suitable for them. Very helpful and friendly lady, just like the rest of the staff. And the breakfast was lovely! We have everything and plenty to choose from! Good quality and very attentive staff....buffet style but they personally serve you coffee or tea they never leave you short of anything ! Me and my two teenage kids had the Junior Suite room on the 4th floor....very modern, everything looks new and clean, bed so comfy we slept through the night , in fact we didn't like leaving our room! Toiletries are free and of good quality. And they keep our towels clean and fresh. This is a very good hotel, thoughtful to the needs of its guests. Highly recommended. Last but not the least, the nearest underground station is just 5 mins walk and Lidl is just right" next door" ! We will definitely come back next year! Thank you Angelo Hotel for making our Munich visit happy and memorable!

Hotel grande e dispersivoPosted Aug 30, 2015
Pros: La colazione
Cons: L accoglienza all arrivo.
Location: Posizione non distante dal centro, zona discreta, pochi ristoranti comoda a metro e bus
Pessima accoglienza all arrivo, hostess poco professionali, un po sommarie, camera sbagliata. Hotel grande se ti danno una camera lontana devi fare km x entrare /uscire. Buffet colazione ottimo, non distante dal centro comodo ai trasporti. Fermata metro a 500 mt.

Good hotel in Munich suburbsPosted Aug 16, 2015
We got a good rate here and stayed for 2 nights during the August heatwave. Most important - the aircon worked well - much better than other more expensive hotels we had stayed at in Switzerland. Hotel was quiet, breakfast was good and hotel is located next to a Lidl and DM so easy to buy snacks, toiletries etc. Getting to the hotel from HBF was easy - S7 to Harras - just a couple of stops and then about a 5 minute walk. Exit the station and look right and you can just see the 'gelo' of the hotel name on the building a few blocks up the street. Staff were helpful and you can buy rail tickets at reception. I would stay there again.

Relativ neues Design-HotelPosted Aug 10, 2015
