Quaint and clean

Posted Dec 29, 2016
Pros: Close to transport and easy walking distance to Marienplatz.
Location: Supermarkets nearby. Underground mall complex near Marienplatz that sells fantastic coffee is 10 minutes away.
Close from the central station, good place to flop and rest. Quite small in size ut clean and efficient with space. Not completely sou D proof and the view out the windo was not great but overall it was good.

Nice, clean, warm hotel, conveniently located.

Posted Dec 23, 2016
Pros: See above
Cons: Please, rewire the entire light switches system sensibly, or provide... labels and a user manual for the existing one :-|
Location: If you are vegetarian/vegan (and even if you re not) go and eat at Bodhi, 20 min walk from the hotel.
The hotel is conveniently close to the Central Station. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the cleaning personnel did a superb job working around the little mess we made. The super-king-size bed is comfortable and the room was possibly too warm even with the heating off during our winter stay. The light switches in the rooms are simply diabolical; in five days we did not manage to work out what switch controlled what light and why random switches would turn everything off for no apparent reason. Also, there is not a lot of privacy between the sleeping area and the shower/toilet area. You have free access to a nice small gym and a small sauna + lounge relaxing area, which are underused so very quiet. Overall a good hotel. The European-literature theme/concept is nice, if you are into that sort of things, otherwise you can just ignore it and enjoy your stay. It's a nice hotel, expensive but not more than one would expect for an establishment of this level, near the heart of one of the great European historical cities.

Good hotel but the dinner menu needs evaluation

Posted Nov 4, 2016
Pros: The staff service was excellent.
Location: Location near the railway station, where there are many choices for dining.
The physical aspects of the hotel were excellent. Room service seems to have a greater choice for dinner than in the restaurant.

Nice hotel close to Metro/Train Station.

Nice hotel close to the Metro/Train Central Station and the Wiese. Very clean comfortable rooms, loved the shower and friendly staff. Most of them can speak English, German, and Spanish.

10 min away from Hauftbahnhof. Comfotable.

Location: It is easily accessible by walk from the main station.
Close to the main station. The staffs was kind. The room was comfortable to me. I stayed there during October Fest; the hotel price was so higher than the normal.

Lots of space but stark.

Posted Sep 16, 2016
We were upgraded to an apartment because there was some problem with our room and moved to Eurostar Grand Central. The first Eurostar seemed to be in a bit of a sketchy area. The other location was better but the room seemed so stark. No high end feeling in spite of the hefty price. Refrigerator was dirty and toilet and tub had mildew marks. Stay some place else. Room service food was blah and no one picked up trays even after calling.
