Found hair in the bed. Sheets were not changed. Had to wait 2 hours after check in time to get room because the room was not cleaned.

Hotel Now Poorly Managed

Posted Jan 3, 2017
Pros: In general, the staff is very pleasant and helpful
Cons: Upgrade your management team Replace Wifi and internet provider Replace all card readers in elevators and card writers at Reception Upgrade the beds
Location: English Garden - Christmas Markets (November, December) and Beer Gardens (warm weather)
I have stayed at this hotel four times and it is now poorly managed: 1. Under-staffed lobby during peak registration - long waits, forgotten orders, frustrated staff bickering with each other 2. Poorly trained housekeeping staff - our room had to be changed since we were booked into a room that smelled like cigarette smoke (non-smoking hotel). Either the staff is poorly trained to bring this to attention or they are too intimidated by management to report issues like this. Not acceptable. 3. WiFi is very bad. Do not plan on getting any work done at this hotel. Internet down for hours, sign-in page routinely not available, site bumps you off the network about once an hour, need to re-sign in every 24 hours, very slow speed. This is not the year 2000. Step up your game! 4. Beds are not as comfortable as before (four years ago) 5. Card key readers do not work in every slot in the elevators. In a previous visit, we had to change the cards 4 times.

Nice hotel close to the English Gardens

Posted Dec 2, 2016
The hotel is a perfect base for a weekend away. Located in the English Gardens and a short journey into the city centre. The rooms are large, well maintained and clean. The staff are really helpful and the spa facilities are ok. The only real negative is the price of food and drinks in the hotel. Be aware it is very expensive.

Great breakfast,no wifi, typical great Hilton room

Posted Oct 15, 2016 on Hotels
Close to the English Garden. Either use taxi or have a car. Parking expensive. Can walk to Marienplatz in 40 minutes. Typical Hilton hot breakfast: many choices. Should have sit in a more open area, but was assigned to sit in a more closed corner. Hilton HHonors member, but booked through a third party, so no wifi.

For a business hotel in a modern city like Munich I was surprised that the wifi was so slow/intermittent. While the property is okay, it is not close to the old town Munich sites that tourists will want to see.

Hotel was convenient due to the bus stop right outside the hotel entrance. Enjoyed the park that was very nearby. Beds were a little firm.

Great Hotel!

We were very happy with the location and room. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in Munich. The bus stops right in front of the hotel which will get you to Munchner Freiheit in 10 minutes.
