Nice place near Munich airport

Posted Jan 21, 2017
Pros: Positives about this place: it was close and convenient to the Munich airport, and the price was reasonable.
Cons: There were renovations going on - no real impact on my stay.
Location: There are 2 restaurants within 5 minutes walk. I went to the Greek restaurant and the food was good and reasonably priced.
Flying back home and I had a layover in Munich. The Hotel was a 25 minute train and bus trip from the airport. Host was friendly and helpful. Room was very small, but considering my needs it was perfect. I had a private room with a single bed and a sink - I shared toilet and shower facilities with a few other rooms. The room had a lockable door - I was not on the hostel side of the establishment. The place was clean and modern.

Daer guest, thank you for your Feedback ! I have to correct you a little bit. All our hostel rooms are private rooms, only the bathrooms are shared. But if you liked already our hostel rooms that much, we are looking forward to get your reaction when you see the even more nice hotel rooms, if you consider next time to book that category.

Terrible location & disrespectful staff

Posted Jan 7, 2017
At the reception the guy was rude, didnt even talk to us & just hand us a card with out saying anything. We asked for a place to eat & he said "its no lunch time, there is nothing open" & there is a minimarket a block a way. Building is under remodeling. Noise is terrible at all times from other rooms. Is not accesible You have to take a train, a bus & walk. We choose this place because our flight left early in the morning & it is located near the Airport, but it was not worth it.

Dear guest, if you are not satisfied with the dining times/opening times of restaurants in Germany, it is not the problem of the hotel. Furthermore if you are not able to read the informations about transfer of the hotel, it is also not the problem of the hotel. If you are complaining that your booked hostel room with shared bathrooms on the hallway has no own bathroom, you should read the hotel discription and/or book a hotel room with own bathroom. It is quit interesting how you could check in if nobody from the reception was talking to you. Construction work is done day time and not in the evening, so there is no disturbance at all.

Nice Hotel in a quiet little town.

Posted Jan 3, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness, and locations.
Cons: Breakfast selection, maybe look into expanding it a bit.
Location: Within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Less than 5 minutes by car to even more restaurants, supermarkets and gas stations.
We needed a place that was close to the Airport as we needed to pick up some friends early the next morning, this place was just right. Clean, huge rooms (we had the family room), and the location was just awesome. Close to many shops, restaurants, supermarkets and gas stations and less than 10 minutes from airport. We loved it so much that we'd likely stay on our next visit to the Munich area.

Reasonably priced hotel but let down by staff

Posted Nov 8, 2016
Pros: Cleaners were helpful and friendly. Thats about it!
Cons: * Unfriendly staff who seemed more concerned about filling rooms than looking after guest. * Breakfast was far too basic
Location: Few restaurants nearby to eat especially the greek one, A bank is also closeby so you can get cash from.
Checked in okay, but initial impression was uncompromising staff. Seem to be met with an almost no feedback to request which seem poor in hospitality industry especially as i'm UK based. Requested extra night, paid but changed my mind on last night and decided to check out 1 day early. Hotel staff again were uncompromising on refunds. I was told unless the room is resold, I wont get my money back fullstop. Stand-off-ish it seems but I had to leave anyway and didnt care less of the loss. Called in next day but told my room wasnt sold so definately "no refund". Seemed expected though! No one seem to check if your facilities are okay or you're enjoying your stay. Breakfast is basic cold meal and poor for value @ £7 per night.. If you're happy to just walk in a hotel check in and dont bother if anyone cares about your stay, then this might suit you. My feedback to management there; train staff to be more customer friendly, accommodation selling isnt all about getting your rooms filled but leaving an impression on guest as they might frequent Munich and use your hotel as a regular hub! No Danke from me on this one, sorry!

Dear guest, nowhere in the world you can cancel a room the same day free of charge ( except they have plenty of empty ones available ). I will follow your advice to train my staff in future to invite all guests, accomodation free of charge.

Nice and clean. Eaay and quick. Convenient small town near airport for easy access with restaurants and a gas station for end of car rental fill ups right outside airport.

Airport accommodation for early morning flight

Posted Oct 12, 2016
Pros: Easy 10-minute drive to airport at 4AM. Walking proximity to many restaurants and supermarket.
Cons: Kitchen and bathroom need face lift. CAUTION - Floor levels not aligned between the different rooms. CAUTION - Very slippery bathtub.
Location: Dine at the nearby Gasthof Neuwirt for some traditional Bavarian fares. Do make reservations.
We stayed here mostly out of lack of other options for our group of 5 near the airport. The apartment that we rented was rather basic and uninspiring, though they did make an effort in the design of the bedrooms and dining room. There wasn't a kitchen per se, but rather two adjacent spaces containing two burners, a double sink, two fridges (yes, everything comes in pairs here) and a collection of unmatched dishes and kitchenware. It was an easy, 10-minute drive to the airport in our rental car.

Quirky decor but comfortable hotel.

Posted Oct 7, 2016
Clean room except for grout on shower tiles. Staff helpful with lending adapters and converters. Inflated price due to Oktoberfest. Town has 4 or 5 decent restaurants walking distance from the hotel. El Greco Greek restaurant was good and affordable.

My son arrived late from a long day of travel. There was no food available until the morning which was tough. Otherwise all good. Expensive for what it was - especially after conversion to CAN $.

Pros: Breakfast,restaurant
In midle of the night you have to looking for bathroom with a key in you hands in hafdark hallway, even if you pay 100€ per night,no bathroom in the room. Lokation far away from train station and airport, The only nice breakfast, but you have to pay 7.50€ per rerson

Dear guest, you booked a hostel room with shared bathrooms on the hallway. Of course the prices are higher during Oktoberfest, but my house ist still the most reasonable around. The bus which takes you to Train Station is situated 40 meters from the Hotel. The Airport is in a distance of 3,5 km. Closer Hotels to the airport charged at that night 6 times more.
