Not helpful - will nickel and dime you to death. Asked for nonsmoking room; was told all the rooms are smoking rooms. Very sad.

Dear Anonymous, I am very sorry to read you have not been fully happy with your stay with us. Please let me apologize for the misinformation: we have indeed only few rooms left as smoking rooms, most of the hotel is strictly non smoking. I am sorry that in order to have your rooms on the same floor, it was unavoidable to use smoking rooms, as we were very well booked on the date you have been with us. In regards to “nickel and diming” you I am at a loss of words since I can find only the additional cost for the change into the deluxe category on your invoice. If you encountered any undue charges, please do not hesitate contacting us directly to sort things out. Location is perfect and great concierge 2 stops on metro to Major train station

Great hotel but...

Everything was great, except the temperature of the rooms. VERY warm. We asked the front desk, and was told it was the "sun". At 1am- we were still sweating. Other than that- GREAT hotel, food, wine, location, staff. Just get air conditioning to be used on demand.

Having you and your family with us has been our pleasure and receiving such a feedback only enhances our motivation for hospitality. Yet I do apologize for the inconvenience with the troubles in terms of heating / air-conditioning. Our airing system is still a model that can either heat or cool, but not work both ways at the same time. As with the sunny beginning of spring the days have become rapidly warm but the nights are still quite cold, the system unfortunately does not adapt adequately and our technicians continuously work on it. A lucky addition: as the nights become warmer too, this will soon no longer be an issue. Again, thank you very much for your lovely remarks, we are delighted you enjoyed our hotel, the food, the wine, the location and not least our staff. The hotel and the room was excellent in every way with the exception of the bathroom which was somewhat difficult with an old bath tub, but good plumbing. It needed an overall renovation.

Location: Right across Karlplatz Gate, 5 min walk to Matienplatz
Very nice hotel, elegant with style. The bar and restaurant are extraordinary.
