We had a great stay here. Beautiful location on a tree lined street, just 15 minutes on the tram from the city center and only steps away from the Biergarten and park.

Nice hotel at a great location
We stayed two nights to visit a family member. The hotel was conveniently located, easy parking, friendly service. We had a balcony facing the street, but it was not noisy. The breakfast was plenty. Very nice hotel to stay at.

Words can't describe how great this hotel is to stay at. My wife and I were at the end of our trip across Europe, finishing in Munich and attending Oktoberfest before heading home. At the time I booked, I was hoping to find something very close to the city center but everything was either booked or too expensive. I somehow found hotel Kriemhild, and I'm so happy that I did. This is a family run hotel and the staff makes you feel right at home from the minute you arrive. This hotel is only a 2-3 minute walk from the 16/17 tram line which is a 10 minute ride away from Munich HBF. The hotel is also about a 5 minute walk from the Hirschgarten biergarten which is where we ate our first night, and loved it. The hotel absolutely couldn't have been any cleaner. The room was very comfortable, and the great thing about not being right downtown near the Oktoberfest meadows is that it is very quiet at night outside of the hotel. Although we did not eat breakfast while we were at the hotel, it looked and smelled delicious each morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Munich and would guarantee that you wouldn't be disappointed.

The Kriemhild is a small but cozy hotel near the Schloss Nymphemburg, is only a few steps to public transportation, has very spacious rooms, perfect for a family like ours (with 3 kids), their staff is very friendly, they serve a delicious breakfast in the morning, plus they have free parking which is a huge deal in Europe, we definitely recommend you stay here on your next visit to Munich

Staff was extremely helpful. Best advice I have is learn that the tram is different from the S-bahn and U-bahn. It will save you about 20 minutes of walking once you find the 16 or 17 tram line nearby to go downtown.

Plenty of space for 4 adults in the two bedroom suite. Easy parking and location is a short walk to S Bahn station or bus stop. Only a few stops to Marianplatz.

The personal service of this family-run hotel has had us coming back for years. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and in a quiet neighbourhood minutes by tram from downtown. It is also a two minute walk from one of the best beer gardens in Munich! We always appreciate the caring staff! Oh, and the breakfast is awesome!

Nice hotel but limited narrow parking 6-8* lots in the compound. You may get to park along the road side if lucky. *depends how the cars are parked.

Great Family Hotel
We stayed in one of the large family suites and had a great experience. Quick and easy access to the trams to get to the city center. We were also surprised to find AC in the room - not needed this trip, but a somewhat rare find.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Hotel Kriemhild! The hotel was in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. It was a short walk to Hirschgarten and Nymphenburg Palace. Our room had two beautiful bathrooms and two separate bedrooms, each with a king bed. I can’t say enough about this little gem!

Clean, comfortable hotel with two king beds, two bathroom suite, perfect for four people, close to tram to city Centre and located in quiet neighborhood, close to excellent local beer garden. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice 2day family break
Enjoyed a short 2 days stay in Munich,hotel was great very clean,staff were very helpful especially gentleman on the desk at check-in.the area were the hotel is very quite and clean,plus the tram line is 5 mins walk from the hotel, number 16/17 will take you into city centre at low cost,.so would really recommend this hotel for a quite stay,only negitve was,TV channels no English speaking channes and maybe tea coffee available in rooms

Very nice stay
Very nice stay for a week. Clean and comfortable. Staff was great. Room was very clean. Location was very good. Just small walk jump on the tram at Romanplatz. Also easy to find. Didn't have the breakfast we stayed in 301 two adults and three teen kids and was a great stay.

I loved being in a residential area. Breakfast was good, staff friendly, beds comfy, water hot. The pillows were a little flat and we slept hot with the thick comforters. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Hotel
The Hotel was amazing. It is a 5 minute walk from the Palace. On the way to the palace, there is a bakery, serving fresh made pretzels. The hotel was clean, roomy, and perfect for visiting Munich..

A small, very clean and pleasant hotel. Relatively far from the traditional historic & touristic areas, but close to other places of interest (Schloss Nymphenburg). Very friendly and helpful staff.

Best choice in the Munich area!
Easy access to the main attractions via tramways. Clean rooms and good breakfast at a reasonable price. The staff is very helpful too. Bonus : a biergarten just a few steps away
