This is an older property, the lift will take 3 people only. We had a triple room, very small very hot even with heating turned off, there was a fan in the room I guess for that reason, no tea making facilities but you can ask for a kettle, no cups either so had to buy one. Hotel is central and great for markets etc. our room had a shower door that was broken, and when you shower the water comes up the drain in the floor of the bathroom, having said that I couldn’t fault the staff, very friendly and helpful, but please find another system with the door keys !!! Having to hand them In every time you go out is such a pain.

Pleasant stay
Nice staff and hotel. The bed was comfortable, although the floor needed vacuuming. The location was good to go to Oktoberfest and other tourist sites, although there are a number of homeless people in the area.

Nice, fairly good location
20 minutes walk from the center and old town. Excellent breakfast, not included but at a very reasonable price. Was little noisy at night, noise came from the street.

It was walking distance from the central train station and to the places of interest around Marienplatz. There was a convenience store next door and several cafes/ small restaurants around. The room we had was quiet although it got too warm at night. There was fan made available though and the window can be opened. The hotel is old but we felt safe and comfortable there. Will recommend.

The hotel is located very conveniently within walking distance to the train station. It is also easy to walk into the old part of town from there. The staff is super nice and helpful. Rooms are clean, the breakfast buffet is excellent. Note that it is not in the old part of town, there is traffic in the streets outside, but our room was very quiet. Very good value for money.

First, there are a couple discrepancies in the description. There is a 12 Euro daily fee for parking. The garage is actually a block and a half away and is called HBF Sud. You get a ticket, park, and then the hotel checks it to get that daily fee. 2nd - there is not a free breakfast. That costs 9 euro. Other than that, the hotel is excellent for the location. Without a car, it is more ideal.

We were allowed to check in early! Saved us from jet lag. Probably not comfortable when it is hot outside. Staff excellent and friendly. Rooms nice

Stay here! You won't regret it!!
A beautiful hotel with attentive, friendly staff. The hotel is very old and charming. Every room appears to have been decorated recently and each has their own unique style. Also, it doesn't appear to have any deferred maintenance. The hotel is completely non-smoking (thank God!) except for a small enclosed, garden-patio in the center of the hotel. There is a smart tablet (like an Ipad) in every room, to make your stay user-friendly and fun. Public transportation is literally right outside the front door. It is impeccably clean down to every detail and the little perks, like free, cold, soft drinks, free wifi, and underground parking across the street (€50/day), made us feel like welcomed, valued customers. All the staff were so friendly and kind, I only want to stay here for future visits to Munich. I just wish parking wasn't so expensive, but I guess that's what parking is like throughout Munich.

Our experience of this place is wonderful. People at the desk were highly professional and cordial. However we did not stay at Hotel President but were transferred to Hotel Wallis due to low number of occupancy. So my reviews are of Hotel Wallis and not of Hotel President.

Nice stay
The hotel was nice. Rooms were clean and spacious for Europe. Close to the train station. They also have a breakfast buffet you can purchase in the morning.

El hotel tiene una gran localización cerca del la estación central de tren. Es un poco antiguo, pero en perfectas condiciones. Habitación cómoda y lo que más disfruto de este hotel es el desayuno. Es la Segunda vez que fui. Estuve un par de días enfermo y me ayudaron mucho trayéndome lo necesario a la habitación. Volvería sin pensarlo.

Very small and compact hotel- not very modern, but well kept. There is one small lift, more for lugage than anything, which i did not mind since i do like to take the stairs. Very courteous and professional staff. Room was very clean and bigger than I expected. There's a full buffet breakfast every morning with anything you can think of. As far for location, its one block away from the central station and there's several places to eat in the same street.

this a great location during oktoberfest between oktoberfest and marienplatz. the street is pretty noisy. ambulances all nite. the breakfast is quite good with very good service from the staff. the room was warm and could not adjust the temp. nice front office staff. for some reason they drop the very dirty blinds over the windows every day. do not know why. very limited english tv in the room. nice bathroom with all modern equipment. free mini bar, tho they had nothing i wanted.

Great location.
Great location. About half way between marienplatz and oktoberfest. On a busy noisey street. Very close to the train station. Room comfortable but too warm. Television selection is poor if you speak english. No coffee/tea pot in the room. Breakfast us very good with great service.reception very good.

Super staff, had a couple of maintanence issues, solved quickly by the staff. One of the better breakfast offerings we've ever had. Hated the location, have to walk by strip and message clubs, so many ethnics standing around. Smoking every where, made us uneasy walking to and from the hotel. Too bad, as it is not a place I'd recommend or revisit.

5 mins walk from the main railway station 5 minutes from a large underground shopping centre, 10 mins walk to the old town. Comfortable rooms slept well and fabulous breakfast each morning.
