Good Stay

Location: The hotel was about 10 mins from the art museums and 20 from the shopping district. There's a tram stop about 5 min from the hotel.
This was a good hotel for the price. We had a lovely modern room with a balcony. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and updated. We recommend the breakfast in the morning as well.

Pros: Large rooms, reception..
Cons: No safe box, no kettle, no cold ac (it was winter, fine, I don't how it'd be during summer!)
Location: A lot, around downtown
Easy access to transportation, reasonably priced clean and space rooms, wonderful staff, Mr.Markowich and the lady whom I forgot her name and others were very kind, very helpful. I'd certainly stay there again, I'd certainly recommend to travellers. Thank you.

Pros: The wonderful room and bathroom, great TV.Hotel restaurant is beautiful and even very good cooking (just don't order Schweinebraten, it was dry.)
Cons: There is only one computer with internet for the guests, next to reception, usually long waits. Sound of elevator motor was not pleasant
Location: next door: Schwabing has theaters, stores, restaurants, great jogging in Olympia Park. Rest of town is close by excellent all night public transportati
The first room was not bad at all, very roomy for European standards. But we wanted a higher floor. So they gave us a dream room, overlooking Munich, very big, very functional

Nice, quiet hotel

Location: I did not see a lot in the immediate area but could get a bus to the main parts of town very easily.
The hotel was only steps away from a bus stop whose line connects to the subway system. For twelve euros you can buy a day pass for the train that takes you pretty much anywhere you'd like to go. There is a huge hostel next door which was a little concerning for me, but at least for my stay it remained very calm and quiet. The staff was generally helpful and kind.

Comfortable & friendly hotel near the Olympiapark

Pros: I liked the area, especially the fact that it was slightly away from the busy areas in centre of town. Staff friendly and room was comfortable.
Location: It's a nice area - a pleasant morning could be spent by strolling to the nearby Olympiapark.
I was very pleased with my stay. It's a nice hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was great and was handy to leave bags during the day after check-out. Room was nicely furnished and quiet. The hotel is situated in a pleasant area near the Olympiapark, which is slightly away from the noisy and over-priced hotels close to the Marienplatz. Public transport in Munich is EXCELLENT! It's a short walk to the U-Bahn at Hohenzollenplatz (or you can jump on the tram/bus for a couple of stops if you have luggage). If going to the Marienplatz, a short bus hop then U-Bahn from Muncher Freiheit is an easy way to get to the main square.

Things have changed for the better.

After reading reviews that said some not great things about the hotel and reading the reviews that said great things about the hotel, I decided to risk it and book the two night stay there in the middle of January 2015. The decor is fine. The room we had, which was a double, was very spacious. (€54 per night) The bathroom clean. At first we were booked into room 504 which is next to the elevator shaft and the elevator made a loud horrible noise. I mentioned it to the front desk staff. They seemed very apologetic and quickly moved me to another room down the hall. Room 510 was better except for the fan in the bathroom, whenever it came on, made a grinding noise that I pointed out upon check out for them to repair. The breakfast buffet is €15. It has eggs that are scrambled and hard boiled, breakfast meats, breads, cearals, cheeses, fruit, champagne, fruit juices, vegetable juices, yogurts, coffee, hot cocoa, and water. You could find cheaper breakfasts around the area but the convenience and the choices available at the hotel breakfast are a good option for travelers who don't want to deal with foreign language menus first thing in the morning. There's a bar in the Hotel we didn't use. There's a gas station across the street we did use to get late night snacks and beverages. Massage in the spa next door is €70 10% off for hotel guests. Very nice. Bottom line, feel good about booking. Ask for a room away from the elevator shaft, on the side of the hotel away from the hostel

Very nice staff

Pros: The staff
Cons: Focus on cleaning the room and the bath thoroughly.
Location: Close to the train, not a ton to do within walking distance.
The staff was very nice, there was one in particular "Beatrice" from Spain who help direct us to the sites and help us find our way, an exceptional employee! The hotel is conveniently located close to the public transportation. We did have breakfast in hotel one morning and everything was delicious and fresh with plenty to choose from. The shower was a little odd with no threshold water easily got out and ran over the whole bathroom floor. My only complaint would be on the cleanliness of the room, it was very apparent that the maid rushed.
