Close to the city centre, gorgeous hotel

Posted Jul 19, 2017
Pros: The location and facilities.
Location: The location is close to the main train station and only a short walk from
A short walk from the city centre, this hotel has beautiful accents with all the modern facilities you could ask for. The staff are friendly and always helpful. The hotel has a lovely bar called Longitude which is open late and perfect for after dinner drinks. We travelled for our birthday weekend celebrations and couldn't have asked for more from this hotel.

Convenient access to every mode of transportation

Posted Jul 1, 2017
Easy to get around Munich because of the Hauptbahnhof being right across the street. 14 mins walk to Altstadt--old town. Very friendly and generally helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Room and bed are super comfortable and generous in size especially compared to most European hotels. Efficient air-conditioning! So important for those hot days in Munich. Checking in and out isn't the most efficient. Management needs to think of another way to streamline the process.

Nice hotel close to the train station.

They charged Euro 80 for a roll-away bed for a child. We had booked on expedia and this was not included in the price as it is in other hotels. We would not have stayed in this hotel if we had known about this charge.

The Staff were great they helped us with anything we asked for and were very friendly to us. My daughter was moving to Germany and they helped us with some of the paper work that we needed. They made reservations at places we wanted to go to and told us stories about Munchen. Just a very enjoyable experience.

Central location

I spent 7 nights here with my family and was generally happy with the location as it's walking distance to the main train station and sights. The breakfast menu could be improved though.

NIce, clean hotel, good location

Posted May 24, 2017
Pros: Location location location
Cons: The evening front desk manager needs to be retrained.
Location: Adjacent to the main station, MarienPlatz. Everything in Munchen!
The hotel itself was great. We had an executive room that was very large and clean. The Illy coffee maker was wonderful and I usually hate the pod style coffee makers. Directly across the street from the main station. Our check in representative was exceptionally helpful, gave us maps and directions, checked our bag until our room was ready. Unfortunately, when we came back to collect our room keys we found out that the room did not have beds for three as we booked, 2 adults and a 7-year old child. They said our son would sleep in the bed with us. The bed was two twins pushed together (normal European king sized bed), but the beds didn't stay together. When my son laid on it he fell between the beds. He ended up sleeping on the couch with a bath robe and a coverlet from our bed. The evening manager was very unprofessional in dealings with a customer next to us, smirking and laughing at her concerns, and again when he came to speak with us. They wanted to charge 80 euro for a separate bed and 60 euro for extra sheets for our son. Both completely unreasonable when we marked the number of people in the room properly, including entering his age. We have been to over 40 countries, we have never had this type of experience unless we booked with an infant or toddler. It put a sour taste in our mouths about this hotel as his sleeping accommodations should have been included in the initial reservation.

A great location for using the public transportation. The people of Munich are wonderful hosts. Both staff and residents go out of their way to help.
