I stayed for a night looking forward to the pool and sauna, however none was to be had as the staff limited use to 17:00-22:00, having check out at 12:00 so you may infer there was no time. Areas around central stations are usually dirty but this was even worse. So pick somewhere elese if you must.

Great location for getting about in Munich. Friendly staff and pleasant room. Enjoyed the swimming pool and piano bar. Would stay again and definitely recommend.

The hotel was amazing. 5 star quality. It was clean and spacious. The staff were great and very helpful. I would definitely go back. Its definitely worth going to. My only negative thought is the area outside the hotel is a little iffy at night so be mindful of that if you're walking at night. The first night we parked in the garage there were 2 men doing drugs in one of the parking spaces so maybe not keep things in your car. We did stay for 3 nights and nothing happened though. Even with all that its still worth checkong out this hotel. Best hotel I've been to in years.

The height of the bathtub shelf was low, so I hit my head and my scalp was torn and bled a lot, but the hotel did not respond in any way or took responsibility and only said that such an incident had never happened before. If the hotel doesn't change the location and height of the shelves that hold bathroom towels, I think this kind of incident will happen again.

Stay was very comfortable, fromtdesk was feiendly and helpful theoughout. Walls of room seemed rather thin, as we can hear every door closing, and also the noise of housekeeping team doing their job.

Walkable from the Central Station outside of which the Lufthansa Express bus stops. The hotel is within walking distance of Marienplatz Christmas Market. It has a very small fitness room located on U2 with about 4 exercise items in it, one of which is an exercise bike. Breakfast is very German oriented with various sausages and scrambled egg. Also a wide variety of cold meats etc. and lots of different bread rolls & toast. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms but available from a vending machine. Room was warm. Beds extremely comfortable. Push button operated modern shower.

Disappointing
Whilst the hotel staff were pleasant this hotel reminded me of a hotel from the 1970s . It is in much need of an update especially the communal areas. The reception are is filthy, even the credit card machine was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, the carpets were unkept and it had an overall feeling of shabbiness

Some of the staff was very nice, some were indifferent. It would be better to have coffee makers in every room as there is nowhere to get a cup without having to pay 21 euro for breakfast. We were very disappointed that the vending machine in the lobby didn't have prices and shocked to see we paid 6 Euros EACH for a 16 oz bottle of diet coke and 2.50 euros for a small bag of chips. On the in room TV it advertises Happy Hour from 5-7 PM every day, so we headed down there and had a couple of drinks, we were charged full price and when we asked about happy hour we were told they didn't have a happy hour, we had taken a picture of the screen in the room and they told us it must be "old advertisement", and did not honor it. There are improvements that could be made all around.

I’ve stayed in this hotel a number of times over the past years and on this visit it seems they updated the hotel someone which was great. Overall, it’s the best place to stay in Munich. It’s a half a block walk to the railroad station and about between a five and eight minute walk to the old town. I think the only thing that bothers me about this was that I got in at about 9 o’clock in the morning dark tired and in order to get a room before 3 o’clock in the afternoon I had to pay an additional €35. That was never the case before . If they had a room open, they just gave it to you. As far as the neighborhood goes nothing to get nervous about it still not one of the best, but not bad if you know what I mean.
