Munich Visit
We were pleased with our stay at Park Hotel Laim. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was easy to get to public transportation.

Very Impressed!!!
Stayed only 1 night for a football game but I was very impressed. From the lovely lady at the front desk to the cleanliness and cool layout of the room! Also the closeness of the metro station is a plus!

It was a clean place with a very spacious and clean garage. Very close to subway and direct line to city center. Decent breakfast and helpful staff.

This hotel was perfect for visiting Munich. We were able to park on the street with no problem. The subway entrance is on the corner and we were in downtown Munich in less than 15 minutes. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff was very pleasant and helpful

One entry to U5 subway/underground train station is just in front of the hotel. So it is easy and fast to reach central train station, Residenz, and Marienplatz. There are A Couple of small groceries and restaurants around the hotel. Not too many choices.

A Hotel Unmasked
This was my first stay at this hotel, although I've been to Munich many times and have lived in Germany (hence speaking fluent German). The place is a bit out of the center, which is easily reachable by metro, and has an attractive appearance. The room to which I was initially assigned was exquisitely appointed. I say "initially," however, because even though I requested in writing and upon check-in a QUIET room, I was put in a room that could not have been noisier starting at 7:00 a.m. due to construction/drilling next to its main window! I asked to have another room, and the woman at the reception was kind enough to let me use a hotel flat (uncleaned until later in the day, however). That was ok, although somewhat chilly and the cable TV got few of the listed channels. Upon check-out, the same lady had a hard time processing my credit card info, which almost led me to missing my train connection. MOST IMPORTANT, THOUGH, WAS THE COMPLETE ABSENCE OF MASK-WEARING BY EVERYONE AT THE RECEPTION, A PERILOUS BEHAVIOR DURING THE COVID-PANDEMIC, ESPECIALLY IN GERMANY, WHERE MASK-WEARING AND OTHER MITIGATION MEASURES ARE DE RIGEUR. I FOUND THIS SHOCKING AND SOMETHING THAT POTENTIALLY PUTS BOTH HOTEL STAFF AND GUESTS (even if vaccinated) AT RISK!

Dear guest, thank you for your honest review. Our staff ALL wear a mask. At the reception we have plexiglass walls that allow us as staff to take off our mask. Our staff are all trained to put the mask on as soon as they leave reception. We regret the noise caused by the construction work in the building next to us. Unfortunately, we have no control over this construction site.

Our room was very spacious and clean, however, climbing 5 flights of stairs,carrying over 100lbs of luggage, after an 8 hour flight was less than ideal. Noone offered to assist with the luggage and i am incapable of carrying a 50lb suitcase, so my husband had to carry it all up. When we contacted hotel previously we were informed that they have an elevator. They did not inform us the building our room was in did not have one. Also, the hammering repair work being done in adjacent room(early in the am), caused a picture to fall from wall leaving broken glass all over. Called front desk and was told there was noone to clean it until the morning. My husband had to walk back down and up 5 flights to get a broom so we didnt step on broken glass during the night. Also, had to ask 3 days in a row to have washcloths put back in bathroom. The cleaning people did not clean the kitchen sink each day. The hotel was lovely and conveniently located but the service left very much to be desired.

Rented the two bedroom apartment. Plenty of space for our family of four. Very close to U-Bahn station so easy access to central Munich. Would definitely stay there again.

Location is good as we are right next to the U5 u-Bahn. It is a more residential area but easy enough to get into the old town within 15mins. If you drive, it is a great location as the street parking is free. Apt size was very good size and comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is not vey far away from Downtown area. If you get a High floor there isn't an elevator, so you can imagine how easy is ta carrie your luggage up and down the stairs. The room wasn't ready, we enter and there was no clean sheets for the bed or blankets, we were at -3C. The biggest issue was the fact we left the privacy card on the door and they enter anyway and moved some of our stuff without our permission. Wont ever stay there again.

The room had been to small for 4 people. None of us had been able to sleep well cause of the bed conditions. The heating could not been arranged. It was very warm and unpleasant to stay in the room

frontdesk staffs short and not to helpful. I did not know you had to put your room card in a slot to access electricity. when I went to front desk to ask bout lights she responded with there is a photo inside room key folder. "like I was looking at the pictures!" I asked for a second key card. not helpful with any information. I wanted coffee in the morning since I didnt not realize I booked a hotel without free breakfast and was told I could drink a cup in the lobby but was not allowed in the dining room.. room was super small, my master closet at home is bigger than that room. Hotels.com should actually go see these places before they post on website.

Went for octoberfest and it was a perfect location easy to get to from the train station and was the opposite direction of all the crowds I would definitely stay here for octoberfest again! Only draw back was the breakfast was 18 euros and not worth it .

Right across the street from the subway and very good place to stay at. There was once, I had to wait at the front desk for about 5-10 mins because there was no one there. They should have a phone or a call button as I was not the only one waiting.
