Great place to stay.

Posted Dec 4, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff at reception 24 hours a day. The room was comfy with a writing desk and room to move. The view to the courtyard was very special.
Cons: Not improved - but just a tip - breakfast before 9am on the weekends otherwise you have to line up as the room is full.
Location: Location is great. Very close to the Oktoberfest site, which is only a easy 5-10 minute walk away. U station is just a block away too.
The location was good, the staff were friendly, the room was comfy and the breakfast buffet was delicious - what more do you want!

Ok hotel for a quick business trip. Clean and decent. Good location. Had some trouble with heating but didn’t freeze in the end so no harm no foul

It was pleasant, good location and decent hotel. Friendly staff, the breakfast is over priced. The rooms were clean and in good shape. I had no complains.

Super affordable and great service and location.

Great service from hotel front desk staff, maintenance, and bartender. Rooms are basic and small and standard rooms do not have AC. But, we learned this is typical and most people don't have AC. Room had a comfy clean queen bed, fridge, TV, desk, chair, and bathroom with shower. 5 min walk from Haupbahnhof central station was convenient access to airport and all Munich sights downtown. We loved and befriended Carlos the bartender and returned to patronize him almost every night of our stay. After a day of sightseeing and upon returning to the hotel Carlos welcomed us with a friendly wave and cold beer.

No long lie

Posted Aug 25, 2017
Pros: Good location and nice reception area
Cons: Air conditioning in the rooms
The hotel is a 15 min walk from the main station and about the same again from the centre, so well situated. Our room didn't have air conditioning, which was a bit of a surprise, so we had to leave the window open as it was a warm weekend. We had a room overlooking the beer garden so there was some noise in the evening and morning if this was being used. It was nothing compared to the bells of the beautiful nearby church however which struck quarterly from 8am to 9pm. Thank goodness we didn't want a long lie. The room was pleasant and clean with a kettle. The tap water is drinkable so we were able to fill up our water bottles for our trips. Breakfast isn't included but we picked up coffee, croissant and sandwiches at Yormans within the Train station on the way to our sporting event each day. We were using the underground daily so bought a 4-day group tourist ticket at the airport when we landed which covers up to 5 adults. As well as saving money it made things much easier. Beware the ticket machines don't take 100 Euro notes (which is all the ATM gave us) so we had to go and buy something from the supermarket in the airport to get change.

Just OKAY

Posted Jul 22, 2017 on Hotels
I chose this hotel as it was only a 10 min walk from the hbf & ZOB (train and bus station). The area felt a little dodgy and I didn't feel that safe walking around solo. The room was OKAY for 1 night but be aware no wifi is included so you need to pay for it in reception. Room was nice but recoommend to pay the extra 10 euro for aircon in summer. Room was modern, clean and pretty spacious- great for 1 night business trip.
